Property could use a deep cleaning and some updates. Also needed extra towels and blankets.

Not sure why you would say that when there is a whole closet full of extra blankets and towels in the basement?

Great location and good place for the guys at fish camp. Property lacked towels and linens. For a couple hundred bucks the owner could make this property far more appealing.
Convenience of this location will add hours to your time on the water. The convenience of the upscale Kroger grocery store, gas station with high octane no ethanol fuel for boat, and the restaurants will lower your stress by not having to fight traffic and chaos on the mainland. Island living is much lower stress and a joy
This my 8th year fishing the DTR and this is the best location I’ve stayed at, and the accommodations perfect for fisherman towing a boat. Elizabeth park is less than 5 mins away and that convenience is a game changer. The house is vintage cottage warm and welcoming. Breezeway between garage and house great for stowing gear and coolers so they stay dry. Amenities spot on and clean. The location is also 3 blocks from large Kroger grocery, gas station, hardware, restaurants, minutes from the house, with nominal traffic. The convenience added hours to our relaxation and fishing. Lastly the host is a joy to work with and responds usually in minutes. We booked again this month and will be here next year for two weeks.
