Room was cute and cozy, location to beach access was amazing, right across the street. Pool was nice and not crowded. Will stay again! Only negative thing I have to say about it is the one roll of toilet paper they have in the unit.

Would stay here again! It would have been even better to have beach items to use in the condo. We ended up having to buy some for our middle school children to use. And we had to buy trash bags, toilet paper and dish washer tabs so we could use them for our 1 week stay as a family of 4. The bed was super comfy and my kids loved the twin pull out sofas! The view was also amazing. Along with the updates all around the condo. We loved the beach access, pool and hot tub. The pool was cold but the kids didn’t care. Our host was super responsive and friendly when we reached out too!

We highly recommend this property. The property looked exactly like advertised in the pictures and description. The owners were very responsive to any questions. It was very clean, and we loved the decor. The view of the Gulf from the balcony was perfect. We loved only having to cross the road to get to the short walkway that led straight to the beach. The neighborhood was quiet. And, we were a short drive to many restaurants and attractions. We would love to stay here again in the future!!

The owners’ communication was cordial and prompt. Check-in, check out was a breeze.The place was exactly as described. The unit is on the 7th floor of the Gulf Shores Sand and Racquet Club. Located in a quiet area of Gulf Shores but only a few minutes to shopping and restaurants. It is across the street from the beach with its own private entrance. Pool and hot tub are relaxing. The unit provides wonderful views of the Gulf from the balcony (and couch, loved this) and beautiful sunsets from the dock on Little Lagoon. We had a wonderful stay!

We have been visiting Gulf Shores for years! Terri's parents were snowbirds, so started visiting them 30+ years ago. We dreamed of someday having our own condo to enjoy. The summer of 2025, our dream finally became a reality. We had stayed several times at the Surf and Racquet Club and knew that's where we wanted to purchase. The owners always made us feel welcome . . . everyone is SO friendly!
We currently live in Sevierville TN, having moved from northeast Wisconsin in 2018 to be with family. So we get to enjoy both the beach and the mountains!
We hope you enjoy your time at Pelican Breeze as much as we do!

Why they chose this property

We have stayed at campgrounds, beach front condos, and beach houses in Gulf Shores. A few years ago a friend recommended that we check out the Gulf Shores Surf and Racquet Club. We are so glad we did! We love the pool and the hot tub, we love the beach view and private access across the board walk, and we LOVE the people here! The lagoon behind the complex offers yet another special feature, with docks for fishing, launching a boat, or just enjoying a sunset.

What makes this property unique

Honestly, all the units we have seen here at the Surf and Racquet Club are so inviting. Everyone does a good job of keeping things looking great, from the HOA to the individual unit owners. We wanted Pelican Breeze to be a special place as well. We installed a barn door off the bedroom to allow for more privacy (and just because it looks so neat!) We painted the kitchen cabinets, hung pictures, purchased new towels and bed linens, spruced up the bathroom, added a rug to the living room . . . just tried to make our unit a place both we and our guests would enjoy staying. We also replaced the sofa sleeper with two twin-sized sleeper chairs; hopefully this will be a blessing to families traveling with kids. To finish it off, we have a 7th floor view of the beach, with only 2-story beach houses and the boardwalk across from us. We can see both sunrises and sunsets. And we can watch the pelicans! (More updates coming!)
