About this property

TC/East Bay beachfront condo in the heart of golf courses and wineries.

We are located at Grand Traverse Resort’s beach located on East Bay, 6 miles west of downtown Traverse City. With amazing views of the beach, Mission Point and evening sunsets from our first-floor condo living room and our back is nestled in the woods with a pretty view and smell of tall pine trees.
We are minutes from downtown Traverse City and 8 miles from Elk Rapids and down the street from Grand Traverse Resort and Turtle Creek Casino, with on-site shuttle service and transportation to and from Grand Traverse Resort and Spa and Turtle Creek Casino.
From Memorial Day to Labor Day, jet ski, paddle board and boat rentals are on site and available to rent through Blue Sky Rentals.
Famous wineries located just minutes away with year-round wine tours available through many local touring companies.
Located in the heart of the Michigan golf mecca, golf enthusiasts can enjoy topnotch golf courses within minutes of the condo.
Along with a beautiful beach, there are several tourist locations within 45 minutes: Fishtown (Leland), Glen Arbor, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Elk Rapids, Mission Point, Grand Traverse Commons, 3 well-known bike and walking trails, miles of cherry orchards and wine vineyards.
We allow up to 4 guests, 2 bedroom with a queen bed and 1 bunk room (adult size built-in bunk beds) with Jack and Jill bathrooms (1 adjoining shower).
Full kitchen that includes refrigerator, electric stove/oven, butcher block counters and microwave (no dishwasher).
No pets and no smoking allowed.

Super cute and clean condo in a perfect location for Traverse City Horse Shows, with a short drive into downtown TC. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and the host was great with communication.

Cute condo

Great location. We were able to easily walk down to the beach every evening to watch the sun set. Just a few minutes from a Meijer and from Traverse City. The unit itself is updated and comfortable.

Pros and Cons.Mary was a great host. Very responsive. Condo was clean and nicely decorated. Perfect location. Short walk to the beach, but view is limited from unit due to brush. There were a couple of cons though and felt this information would have been good to know before booking. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very small. It’s difficult to access the shower and the second sink is too tiny. Very cramped and hard to get around.Second issue we had was with the window coverings. My sister and I stayed there, and this was what we had the biggest issue with. The living room and main bedroom have sliding glass doors to the deck/patio area, but the curtains were sheer. No privacy at night. Walking path just a couple yards away, and anyone outside at night would have been able to see clearly into the unit when the interior lights were on. In fact, someone would be able to not only see into the bedroom, but right down the hallway to the bathroom, which did not have a door to close for privacy. Also, there was a window above the bathroom sink with no coverings at all. The property slopes down toward the building from the front, so we felt like someone could look in, had they been standing on the higher ground. Finally, there was no table to eat at, only TV trays. You have to sit on the couch to eat. In good weather there is a table outside. don't want to discourage anyone from booking here, but I wish I would have had this information before booking.

Traverse City Weekend Getaway

My girlfriend and I stayed at Mary's place and it was a great property. Everything was very clean and organized. It is perfect for two people and a perfect distance from downtown Traverse City. It is also located right on the water and has a great view when stepping out on the balcony. Communication with Mary was good. I had to contact her the night before for the code to the door but she responded within an hour or so. Overall we enjoyed our stay at this property and would highly recommend it.

Comfortable for two and great location

We recently booked a trip to Traverse City and couldn't be happier with these accommodations. Mary was extremely easy to work with and prompt in responding to any of our requests. The place has a decent view and good privacy as it's separated by an inlet and walking bridge which takes less than a minute to get to the beach. Location was perfect and a quick drive to numerous wineries, golf, and plenty of restaurants. There is no grill at the unit (seemed like an HOA rule?) but there is a shared community grill in the parking lot nearby. I'd be happy to visit again.

Great location!

This condo is in a great spot and we had a very enjoyable stay. It would have been nice to have bar stools at the counter to sit and eat, since there was no table. We brought patio chairs in to use. Cable tv would be nice, as well.

Clean and convenient

Mary’s property was amazing. You can see the beach from your room and have just a short walk to get to the water! It’s a very short drive into downtown Traverse City, 30 mins from Sleeping Bear and 30 mins from Torch Lake. The condo was spotless. I would highly recommend.

Great lake view

Awesome first floor one bed condo. Great location. Out of the hustle bustle of downtown but close enough to enjoy everything TC has to offer. The owner, Mary was wonderful to work with. A most memorable stay. Hope to come back soon.

Lovely Condo made for 2.

We have visited this condo multiple times over the years and love going back to it. It's small but just perfect for a couple wanting to get away for a week or long weekend. The bed was very comfortable with a mattress topper. The shower was wonderful as well if you like a strong stream of water. Owner had just about anything you needed available to use. The one thing that we found was that once you enter the condo after the temperature had been turned down for awhile, there was a musty smell but as soon as you turned the temperature up, the smell went away. We left behind a candle warmer though for the next occupants but bring your own candle melts. We DEFINITELY will be back next year if not before!! Thanks Mary!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!! :)

Amazing place to atay

We most certainly enjoyed our stay. Mary’s place is very comfortable and clean. Lots of extras. She was always available and gave us great advice with places to go. The area is quiet and very well kept. We spent 5 days and will return. Highly recommend a stay here. We had everything we needed and more .

Homey apartment with a beach a few steps away

Wonderful quiet condo with everything we needed. So happy we could spend our vacation there. The beach is a few steps away. Only thing is the brush behind the condo is starting to grow and block the view of the water.

Very nice place!

I was looking for some peace and quiet, away from the crowd. This was the perfect place! A short walk to the beach, and only a short drive to the local attractions. This is a very nicely furnished and maintained condo. I would recommend it highly. I probably will return! Just one thing--the person at the desk at Grand Traverse Resort who helped me check in apparently didn't know the procedure. She couldn't find my reservation. Luckily the girl next to her overheard and all was good.

Great stay!

My husband and I had a great trip in Traverse City! This condo was a perfect haven at the end of the day after we explored the peninsulas and downtown. Mary was very helpful prior to and during our trip as well as easily accessible. Thank you guys for such a nice stay!
