Great location for scalloping…. Adjacent to the boat ramp and by the mouth of the river to the gulf. You’re scalloping in no time. This particular rental is on the top floor, so expect to climb some stairs. The pool was down during our stay, so we didn’t swim (pump was out and the water was dirty). Having the floating was super convenient for scalloping as well. Plenty of room in the little community to park your trailer. The house itself is comfortable and the a/c worked well. The deck had amazing views and was a great place to hang out at the end of the day. The kitchen overall was well stocked, but I do wish there were a few more large bowls for serving, etc. We will likely stay here again on future scalloping trips, highly recommend and the owners were very nice too.
