Charming 3 bed/2 bathroom property overlooking beach at Knock Bay and Knoydart

Stonebridge is a very charming, recently built (completed end of 2008), detached timber clad house in a very special location with the most stunning views to Knoydart. The house is tastefully decorated and offers luxury accommodation for up to 6 people, with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Downstairs is a hand-painted bespoke fully equipped kitchen, including microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher with dining area off seating up to 6. There is a utility/boot room with washing machine and tumble dryer. The sitting room is intimate and cosy with a contemporary wood-burning stove, TV/DVD player and very comfortable sofas! On the ground floor there is also a walk in wet shower room and double bedroom. The 2 further bedrooms (one double and one twin) are located upstairs along with a separate bathroom. There is a varied selection of books and games. Wi-fi.

Gorgeous bay views, perfect location, cozy cottage

Our Family enjoyed looking out over the bay and the kids liked playing at the beach. The location was ideal and very convenient to many day trips. The quaint cottage was comfortable and clean. We highly recommend this cottage for anyone who loves nature and appreciates beautiful flowering gardens and the comforts of home while they are traveling.

Lovely house!

We already stayed at Stonebridge 6 years ago and were happy to come back again. The house is lovely, clean and well equipped. The view over the Sound of Sleat is great, this time we were lucky and even saw dolphins. A distillery is in walking distance, we recommend to take a tour. Thanks for having us again!

Passendes Haus zur wunderschönen Insel

Wir (5 Personen) haben unseren Urlaub auf Skye, trotz vielem Regen, sehr genossen!!! Das Haus war sauber und gemütlich (auch wenn nicht alles unserem Geschmack entsprach), der Blick auf das Meer hat uns immer wieder fasziniert und wir hatten alles, was wir für einen erholsamen Urlaub benötigten. Lediglich der Verkehr auf der kleinen Straße vor dem Haus (hauptsächlich zu Fährzeiten in Armadale) hat uns etwas überrascht - wir hatten mit weniger gerechnet. Sollten wir Skye ein weiteres Mal besuchen, würden wir dieses Ferienhaus gerne wieder buchen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Vielen Dank!!!

Cottage très chaleureux

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce cottage très chaleureux, aménagé avec beaucoup de goût et très propre. La vue est magnifique, nous avons pu voir des phoques grâce aux jumelles à disposition. L'équipement de la cuisine est exceptionnel. Quel plaisir aussi de pouvoir utiliser le poêle avec le bois mis à disposition. La proximité de la route n'est pas gênante. Contacts très faciles avec l'hôte. Nous recommandons vivement!

A good week despite the rain!!

Despite an extremely wet week, being able to return each day to Stonebridge Cottage made our stay an enjoyable one. The cottage is of a high standard & we have no hesitation in recommending the property as an excellent place to stay. We would have no hesitation in using it again.

Great house on the quiet and stunning Sleat Peninsula

Lovely house, well equipped and an excellent location on the beautiful and quiet Sleat peninsula of Skye. The veranda was great for sitting out on. We had a great family holiday. A minor point but whilst there was an abundance of wine glasses there were no beer glasses!
