This place was a gem. Great location, beautiful setting, my only regret is not staying multiple days. The host was wonderful also. The whole family really enjoyed this place.

This is a fabulous place to stay in Costa Rica! We wish we had another day to stay and explore more, but it was our final stop. Rick texted me to let me know we could arrive early if we wanted to (which we did!) and the place was immaculate. They have thought of every little thing you could want or need to have a relaxing stay. The beds were very comfy, they provided some welcome refreshments and maps, games, hiking gear, really everything! We saw the most birds at this stop-- toucans, hummingbirds, macaws, parakeets, (my husband can list off more, but he's not here now lol). I cannot recommend this highly enough. If you're looking for a spot near the Rio Celeste to relax, watch birds, spend time with your family and friends, this is it!

The house is 800ft2 with a 200ft2 covered porch. The front porch features two swinging hammocks, additional seating and is the perfect spot for bird watching to enjoy a morning coffee or sunset cocktail! You'll see lots of wildlife, including toucans and other several tropical birds, coatis and monkeys hanging or swinging around! The construction is concrete, featuring ceramic tile throughout. The bathrooms are modern and feature spacious showers with hot water! Kid and pet friendly! The house was designed to keep out unwanted rainforest guests and is structurally sound, featuring metal framed doors. It is fully screened and is equipped with A/C.
