Modern design cabin with hot tub, sauna & geodesic dome in the Catskills. Nestled in the quiet hamlet of Smallwood, this light-filled retreat is across from a waterfall and forest reserve, just a short walk to Mountain Lake and minutes from several others. 25 minutes to Callicoon, Narrowsburg, and great Catskills dining & shops.
THE SPACE
Welcome to The Bambi House — a peaceful getaway for couples, families, and friends. Designed by Land and Shore Creative, a Brooklyn based design and build firm, the cabin blends modern style with natural surroundings. Highlights include:
Wellness amenities: 7-person hot tub, cedar sauna, cold plunge, outdoor shower.
Open living space: vaulted ceilings, Malm mid-century fireplace, projector, Sonos sound system, large windows with forest views.
Chef’s kitchen: custom-built, fully stocked with high-end appliances, Japanese knives, dishwasher, washer/dryer.
Bedrooms:
Master: king bed + balcony access
Bedroom 2: queen bed + backyard access
Bedroom 3: queen bed + mezzanine, crib/pack & play available
Seasonal Geodesic Dome (May–Oct, +$100/night): king bed, wood stove, seating, extra kid’s bed on request
Bathrooms: one spa-like full bath with heated floors, soaking tub, Japanese toilet & Aesop products; plus one half bath.
Outdoor living
Enjoy the geodesic dome, fire pit, picnic tables, balcony loungers, and BBQ — all surrounded by peaceful woods.
Guest access
Full private access to cabin, dome (seasonal), and property. Parking available for multiple cars.

This is also our family home, so you may notice a few personal items and pantry basics.
