Nice property with some ups and downs
We searched for days debating between 3 properties at this location/neighborhood before deciding on this one. The home is decent and well kept. No major issues at all. We did run into a couple of nuisance issues that didn’t ruin our vacation but we could have done without.
First and foremost we would rent this property again if we had to. It was clean and all the amenities worked/functioned as they should. We used the oven, refrigerator and toaster without issue. We used the dishwasher 3 times and there was a minor water leak, the size of a pie plate on the floor after the first two times and after investigating we assumed it was some sort of a minor seal issue and the third time after shutting it firmly there was no water. Fridge made ice with no problems. And our contents remained cold all week. I hesitate to bring up this next topic because it is all based on personal preference, the beds were hard and the most uncomfortable mattress this 56 year old male has slept on in years if not ever. The pillows in the second floor master bedroom were flat as can be and we had to hijack additional ones that weren’t being used in the other rooms. My wife was not comfortable in the furniture provided in the living room and she pointed out buttons missing on the couch and the main rug needed a good cleaning. I however, found it all “adequate”. The tv/cable needs some detailed instructions, we were confused everyday on which of the 2 remotes to use and what channel the tv needed to be on. Again these are third world problems I know.
The outdoor area and pool were comfortable and although the pool was “smallish” it felt bigger than the pictures showed while we were in it and it was enjoyable to use, we were there in mid April and did not pay for pool heat and we did not need it (1 out of 7 days was cool) we are also from the north and we judge Florida's warmth differently than southerners.
A side note and something that is probably standard with all of these properties are the bath and kitchen items. The toilet paper is the worst you will ever find in any situation. It can be found at the local Walmart for 96 cents for a four pack. Take that information as you will. The paper towels are the same and is sold for 96 cents as well.
Overall I would give this property 4 stars and my wife would say 3 stars.
