A really beautiful spot and awesome weather!

Camprene is a special spot, the deck being a true highlight. It is cozy for 2, and has everything you would need in the kitchen. I also appreciate that Camprene is pet friendly. It is a very short walk into town and the ferry to Isle au Haut, which is a "must do."

Camprene is an authentic coastal experience of an active fishing village

We absolutely loved our stay at this small, charming coastal cottage in Stonington. Perched on a stilt foundation right over the rocks, it offered breathtaking views of the harbor and the activity of a working fishing village. Watching boats come and go, listening to the sounds of the harbor, and taking in the changing light over the water made the setting truly special. The cottage itself was quaint and unpretentious—not fancy, but comfortable, thoughtfully arranged, and perfectly suited to our needs. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, and its simplicity only added to the authentic Maine experience. The location was peaceful yet connected to the life of the village, with the coast right outside our door. If you appreciate character, natural beauty, and the chance to experience a genuine coastal Maine setting, this cottage is a wonderful choice. We would happily return.

Cozy little cottage on the water

It's a cozy, little cottage on the water. Just right for two people. It was a getaway for our 4oth anniversary and worked great for us. The center of town was an easy walk and the locals were very friendly. We used the deck quite often to relax, play cribbage, breathe the ocean air, and view the fishing boats as they went in and out of the harbor. Dan and Bonnie were perfect hosts.
