The view was everything. Just gorgeous. But unfortunately the water was undrinkable, even with a Britta filter due to excessive iron/rust in the water. We had to purchase about 40 of drinking water during our stay. The water turned our clothes orange after washing them. Hoping this will resolve when we re-wash at home. Also the toilet water and shower water were quite rusty...it was concerning and not mentioned in the listing. In addition we had trouble with the furnace turning off while we were there multiple times which required repairmen and restarting on several occasions. Plus a kitchen outlet for the counter appliances constantly needed to be reset. A number of things you don’t expect to have to deal with while on vacation. The space was definitely more rustic than I had expected with some cracks and broken tiles on the kitchen counters. The fireplace however was lovely. With a little more care, less clutter, and a solution to the iron/rusty water problem and other issues we had, the stay would have been amazing. We still enjoyed our stay though because the view and the cozy fireplace saved it.
