Beautiful home on the water

We had a great time at Wilson Cottage! It's well located, on the water but a quick drive to Sand Beach and to Stonington, with beautiful views of quiet Crockett Cove and plenty of space for a good-sized family (We had 5 adults and 2 kids for several days, and everyone fit in just fine.) One heads-up: The house is on well water, and we found that around mid-day the water would run completely dry for a few hours, then reliably return mid-late afternoon. This is mentioned in the house handbook, but I don't recall it being mentioned in the listing. It's not a big deal, but people do need to time and limit the length of showers, and the dishwasher should only be run at night. Overall though we had a great time, and I am already considering renting Wilson Cottage for next year.

Superb experience!

We have visited this cottage a few times and always, thoroughly enjoy it! It is a quiet, rustic retreat into a hideaway with fantastic vistas and pristine pines. We love it and look forward to returning! Also, the folks at Island Agency are always responsive, helpful and friendly. TY IA!

CANCELLATION POLICY
All cancellations must be in writing and received by Agent. Cancellations may only be made between the date that a reservation deposit is received and a date determined to be 45 days prior to the tenants scheduled arrival date. Cancelations within 45 days of arrival will not result in a refund in whole or part of rental monies received. If a cancellation is made prior to 45 days of arrival, the Agent shall, as an accommodation to the Tenant, make an effort to re-rent the property at the published rate for the rental term reserved. No refund of rents paid will be made until the canceled period is re-rented and confirmed. If the canceled period is re-rented, any rent and taxes paid will be refunded less a $100 administrative fee. If the re-rental amount is less than the published rate, any difference in rental rate remains the sole obligation of the tenant. If the unit is not re-rented, all rents paid, processing fees and taxes shall be forfeited as damages. This cancellation policy is strictly followed. Tenants are encouraged to purchase travel insurance for all vacations to cover many situations that may arise that might cause one to cancel vacation plans. There are many independent insurance providers available to tenants.
I understand that the insurance company holds this policy and that The Island Agency does not determine eligibly of claims.
