About the host
Hosted by Spencer Prusi
I'm the owner of West End Ski & Trail, a bike and trail sports shop in Ishpeming. Our shop's first location was the front unit at this property! I'm enthusiastic about trails and introducing people to this awesome community. We can offer rentals for bikes, as well as guided mountain bike tours.
Why they chose this property
Downtown Ishpeming is a great hub for outside activity! We are close to the RAMBA trail network, which has 80 miles of singletrack for mountain biking, hiking, and trail running. In the winter, the trails are groomed for fat biking and snowshoeing. Snowmobile trails go through town, and for cross-country skiing, the UP Nordic Ski Complex and Al Quaal is a couple minute drive away.
Ishpeming is only a 15 minute drive from Marquette, where you'll find even more trails and opportunity for outdoor activities year-round. The Iron Ore Heritage Rail Trail connects the two communities.

What makes this property unique
Our property is located right in downtown Ishpeming, one block off Main St. We are an amazing homebase for all of your adventures. Don't want to drive? We are walking distance from Velodrome Coffee Company, Rare Earth Goods Cafe, Congress Pizza, Buck's Restaurant, and Ish Creamery. Also nearby are a number of antique shops, a pharmacy, grocery store, etc. It's also short walk to the Cliffs Shaft mine museum (open seasonally).
