The cleanliness issues you described — dusty surfaces, floors, and the bedding in the master bedroom — fall well below our standards, and we are addressing this directly with our cleaning team to make sure it never happens again. We're glad we were able to respond quickly when you reached out, and we're grateful for your grace in still recommending the property. Regarding the feral cats in the area — unfortunately this is something outside our direct control, but we appreciate the heads-up.

Thank you for your feedback. As the host, I'd like to share some important context for future guests. Prior to booking, this guest requested — and was granted — a special exception to our house rules to allow two large dogs over 50 lbs. At no point before or during the stay were service animals mentioned. The service animals were only disclosed after the guest requested a return stay and was informed that, due to the condition the home was left in, her pets would not be permitted back. We fully support guests with service animals and made clear those animals were welcome to return — it was the two additional pet dogs that were not, based on the documented damage. Regarding the condition of the home after checkout: our cleaning team found two mattresses with large urine stains, a twin bed that had clearly been used as a dog bed with heavily soiled sheets, and a comforter with fecal matter on it. One set of soiled bed linens had been moved to the laundry pile. These are significant damages beyond normal wear and tear. Additionally, despite a reminder that our lawn maintenance crew arrives on the weekend and that the yard needed to be cleared of pet waste beforehand, this was not done during the first or second week. We strive to be flexible and accommodating hosts, as shown by the exception we granted. We hope future guests will respect the home and our house rules so we can continue welcoming pets.
