Lake Ocone, sometimes referred to as the Hamptons of The South, is great for fishing, boating and many other recreational water activities.

Strip any used beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Remove all trash from the cottage at the time of check-out by taking it to the Putnam County Convenience and Recycling Center, conveniently located at 154 Sammons Parkway, Eatonton.
Guest who check out on a Tuesday or Sunday, all trash should be taken to the Convenience Center the day before check-out. The Center is closed on Tuesdays and opens on Sunday at 1:00
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

The house was right on the lake. It was very clean. The dock was brand new. Parking was easy, even with a boat and trailer. The host was always immediately available and very supportive. We hope to return.

The view is very nice, and the Townhouse has a wall of windows facing the lake in the living room. The only thing is having to take the garbage to a community connivence center that showed it would be open on Saturday (we went Friday and found the place) @ 8am but was not open @ 8:30 am so we had to bring the garbage home with us. Other than that it was a nice place.

WHAT AN AMAZING PLACE!!

My wife and I had the most AMAZING time! The property was clean and exactly as described. The internet access is smoking fast and able to handle several devices. It’s located a stones throw from a full service marina with a convenience store and a Subway and many restaurants (Mello Mushroom and more) less than a mile away. There is a dock so you do t have to trailer your boat. Big boats will have difficulty accessing the dock as there is a tunnel but my 19’ Fish and Ski made it through with room to spare (BIMINI TOP DOWN!). The neighbors to the west are a fun bunch with which to chat and have and have a cocktail. Perhaps you’ll get the opportunity to meet Christopher. He’s great and is genuinely concerned about making sure your stay is comfortable and memorable. We can’t wait to return and I assure you that we will!! Wonderful experience beginning to end!

Great potential right on the lake.

This house has a great location on the lake but it has become a little run down on the outside. Some broken chairs inside and out. The tv wasn’t working but if you want a place to bring your boat and fish Or sit by the lake this is the place for you.
