About this property

3 BR sleeps 6. You’ll have it “made in the shade” of this 100-year old live oak.

Experience Hattiesburg like a local in this 3-bedroom house. With a king bed, queen bed, and 2 twin beds, guests will have a comfortable stay. Built in 1955, we named this property Oak Alley. It sits under the shade of a 100-year-old oak tree and on the corner of an old, abandoned alley that now serves as it’s driveway. There is ample room for four guests to park their vehicles at the end of the drive. The third bedroom also doubles as a dedicated workspace. Enjoy the large screened in front porch as well as a quaint, open-air back porch that looks out onto a huge, grassy backyard. Located 2-blocks from the Long Leaf Trace and 8-blocks from the heart of historic downtown Hattiesburg, Oak Alley is only a 7-minute drive from USM. We hope you enjoy what our place and Hattiesburg has to offer.

Host profile image
I’m a healthcare provider who enjoys writing and performing classical music. As a proper southern host, I believe making my guests feel special, comfortable and “at home”.

Why they chose this property

I live in the neighborhood. My neighbors and I are buying up the properties in the area to invest in our community. We fix them up, respecting their historical character, then live, rent or sell them to deserving families and individuals. I am committed to promoting our historical neighborhood’s diversity, culture and sense of community.

What makes this property unique

Oak Alley is a charming mix of history and modern convenience. Guests say the beds are really comfortable, the wireless tech is good, the kitchen is well-stocked for cooking/dining, the rooms are spacious, and the home is relaxing. It’s all about you - my guest.
