Place was exactly as described. Cozy, clean and well kept. Would certainly recommend. Owner we easy to communicate with and quick responses. Thanks so much!
Old charmer, very comfortable for our family to stay during Graduation. Close to University. Rained the whole time, did enjoy the covered porch. Clean and as pictured on website. Would stay again.
We selected this property because of proximity to grandson’s wedding venue. This house provided the bedrooms and baths we needed for our family group as we got ready for wedding festivities. Upstairs has 2 bedrooms and bath, perfect for three granddaughters. Comfortable decor, kitchen with ample cookware and dinnerware, and several ‘relaxing’ spaces.
We had the best weekend! College friends coming together for a USM sorority reunion. This house was close to campus and perfect size to accommodate us. The neighborhood was lovely and quiet. Plus close to Shipley’s doughnuts!! The hosts have an adorable home. If in Hattiesburg, definitely book it!
“Old world charm” accurately describes this property. A comfortable house for six adults and two children in a quaint neighborhood near everything. A great weekend visit to my old hometown. I would gladly stay here again.
Lovely home. Nice amenities overall. Plenty of space for working and spreading out. Very nice kitchen, bed and bathroom accommodations. Some air regulating fluctuations made the temperature vary from room to room in very cold temperatures outside, but there were other amenities that helped. We felt safe and secure and nicely located to get to restaurants and other shopping needs.
We stayed here while having to cook a dinner for a large crowd to serve at a venue. Location was great, near grocery stores, very clean and spacious. I found the kitchen to be well stocked with high end items. Would definitely stay here again.
This home is very comfortable, spacious and perfectly located close to USM and downtown. The beds were very comfortable as well. We stayed here with family for my son's graduation. It had all the amenities we needed! The owner was extremely helpful and very responsive. I highly recommend!
This is a beautiful property and I will 100% stay here again next time I’m in Hattiesburg. 10/10

Liked: Check-in, communication
Disliked: Cleanliness
Needs work.
The bathrooms were not clean. The ceiling fan in the master bedroom was missing a blade so it could not be used. The handle on the master bathroom toilet was broken. Bedding had stains and could be updated.
Pros: Property owner was a pleasure to work with - responsive and accommodating. Mattresses were very comfortable. Light snacks and other small amenities were such a nice touch.
Cons: lots of personal pictures on walls and there is a need for a routine pest control service.
Loved the charm of the house. Just as described. Lots of room. Very comfortable. Mike was very prompt in helping us with a few "user-error" opportunites we had. Great neighborhood! Easy access to anywhere. Thank you, Mike. We really enjoyed our stay!
The house was fine. Everything was as advertised. Would not have a problem staying there again. The smoke alarm in the living room was chirping so we took it down and removed the battery. It is on the dining room table. The faucet on the sink is loose and needs to be tightened. The gaskets on the shower door in the primary bedroom need some attention.
What a nice, quaint house in Hattiesburg! It was everything we needed for our stay for our son’s USM graduation. Eight adults slept comfortably in this five bedroom house. The kitchen was well-equipped, and there was enough seating throughout the downstairs for everyone, whether they were enjoying time together or needed space to themselves. The house was close to USM, stores, restaurants, a park (with pickleball and tennis courts), and the zoo. The owner was easily accessible if needed. Thanks, Mike, for a great home-away-from home!
Mike was a great host. He was a quick responder to our questions and everything in the listing was just as advertised. The location was clean, all amenities as advertised. The only thing that could be improved was one of the bedroom doors would not stay closed , but it was minor for us. Overall, i highly recommend this home due to its location to downtown, peacefulness and the inclusion of towels, drinks, and a complimentary bottle of wine. Great experience!
We loved the house and neighborhood. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. We enjoyed the updated bathrooms. Our party was three adult couples, and each couple had our own bathroom. Kitchen is well equipped. We enjoyed the feeling of being guests in a friend’s house. The clean up process was very reasonable. And we enjoyed the snacks and coffee. The only wrinkle was that the listing includes a hot tub, which was not present - although we hadn’t planned to use it. Morning coffee and juice on the front porch was a great send off.
Thank you for a very enjoyable weekend!
The house is older house with several antique furniture pieces in it. The front door sticks and sometimes hard to get in the front door. The owner did advise us of this ahead of our visit, but this needs to be fixed for the next group that stays. The upstairs has no AC so was more uncomfortable for sleeping.
