Michael was the best VRBO host that I have experienced in a long time! He was prompt with his communications, gave suggestions on restaurants and activities. The kitchen was well supplied and the house was laid out well for family time and memory sharing, especially in the front room. It was the perfect home for our small family reunion.

Thank you Gigi, it was a pleasure sharing our home with you!
Everything was great. House was really clean. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Front porch is great. It even had a grill so we cooked burgers one night!
Place was exactly as described. Cozy, clean and well kept. Would certainly recommend. Owner we easy to communicate with and quick responses. Thanks so much!
Very happy with the property. Especially the pull out bed for my two year old that hadn't been out of a crib before, super happy to have found that. Everything in the house worked well and it was a nice stay for our T-ball getaway.

Glad you found the trundle bed handy, and FYI, it has plastic mattress cover on it, for just that purpose. First used by our 2-year-old grandson!
Hopefully you had time to take the children to enjoy the new water park and the Hattiesburg Zoo, we are quite proud of the giraffes at the zoo!
Old charmer, very comfortable for our family to stay during Graduation. Close to University. Rained the whole time, did enjoy the covered porch. Clean and as pictured on website. Would stay again.
We had the best weekend! College friends coming together for a USM sorority reunion. This house was close to campus and perfect size to accommodate us. The neighborhood was lovely and quiet. Plus close to Shipley’s doughnuts!! The hosts have an adorable home. If in Hattiesburg, definitely book it!
We selected this property because of proximity to grandson’s wedding venue. This house provided the bedrooms and baths we needed for our family group as we got ready for wedding festivities. Upstairs has 2 bedrooms and bath, perfect for three granddaughters. Comfortable decor, kitchen with ample cookware and dinnerware, and several ‘relaxing’ spaces.

Seems that no one had stayed there in a while because there was spider webs and dust everywhere. No TV in the bedrooms. Other than that it was a nice place

Hello Chris,
We do welcome all feedback from our guests, thank you for taking the time to do so.
We were due for a deep cleaning, and in fact it was completed this week. We are a premier VRBO facility and have quite a bit of activity, so routinely have cleaning done multiple times per month.
Thank you for your stay and would welcome your return should the need arise to return to Hattiesburg.
We stayed here while having to cook a dinner for a large crowd to serve at a venue. Location was great, near grocery stores, very clean and spacious. I found the kitchen to be well stocked with high end items. Would definitely stay here again.
“Old world charm” accurately describes this property. A comfortable house for six adults and two children in a quaint neighborhood near everything. A great weekend visit to my old hometown. I would gladly stay here again.

About the host
Hosted by Mike Dodds
Hattiesburg is where we raised and educated out family, including four of our children and their spouses with degrees ranging form undergraduate to PHD graduates from USM. Hattiesburg has been a special place for us, a wonderful college town with charm and an eye to the future for its people and the region.
Why they chose this property
Parkhaven is truly a walking neighborhood. The neighborhood is full of charming homes, many dating, like our home, to the 1930s. An easy walk to the University and many attractions including the new Serengeti Springs water part next to the wonderful Hattiesburg Zoo.
What makes this property unique
Old world charm, we decorated and furnished this home with ourselves and family gathering in mind. The kitchen is well stocked for meals with a full family gathering in mind, including a family dining room setup. The home offers two family gathering areas, including a front living room and rear den with TV.
