Great house in Copake. My family came for a weekend. House was in a great location, clean and the hosts were very responsive and helpful. We will rent this place again.

The house was beautifully appointed and immaculate. The owners have obviously put a lot of time, money and energy into creating a beautiful living space. It was a very relaxing and comfortable experience for my family.

Overall the property was very clean and organized. A major issue we had was that it was impossible to get the TV to work - it wouldn’t connect to the Internet and after an hour, we simply gave up. This was super annoying. Also, the lighting was a bit extreme - no dimmers, super bright white lights (kind of like you’re in Costco) and hard to set a comfortable ambience. It may sound ridiculous but we wanted a cozy evening in the mountains and the lighting made it hard to get there.

Interesting comments - I am not sure why you never reached out to us to give you a hand. There is a dimmer on the living room lights - perhaps you were looking in the wrong location. And there was help 5 minutes away if you were having an issue with the TV - unfortunately, you never reached out, even after I texted you to let me know to contact me if there were any issues after you arrived. Sorry your experience wasn't what you were looking for, but everything you mentioned was easily remedied if you had just contacted your host.

This is an absolutely beautiful property. Centrally located in Copake—just minutes away from town, but still a peaceful oasis. My wife, our dog, and I had a refreshing, reinvigorating stay. The home is expertly appointed, the layout is fantastic, and the view is lovely. Be sure to explore Bash Bish Falls, dine at North Star, and take in the endless bucolic scenery!
