This apartment is in a great location on a wonderful block. It's quiet but has everything you need while staying in midtown. The apartment itself is basic but comfortable. The bed is great, it has AC, and the kitchen is nice; for one person, it didn't feel crowded. It is dated but everything works. It a good spot if you're on the go in NY and just want a nice place to relax and crash. I noticed some other comments before checking in but i never had any issues with the hot water. Will stay here again if the opportunity presents itself.

Hmmm host was kind and responsive, however shower worked intermittently, drain was plugged and regurgitated black sludge, bathroom sink sprays your clothes, bed was slanted, so rolled over on partner all night, electric plugs missing near bed….was a tough stay
I was there in the summer, and it was a little hot. The AC is good you just have to wait about a half hour to feel it working after you turn it on. Also the main lights are from the kitchen and the bathroom, but there is a floor lamp and two windows that help keep things lit. The bathroom was really nice and the water pressure was good. The bed is super comfy and the tv was the perfect size for watching fifa!
We loved staying in this studio apartment and will definitely book again when we return to the city!! The apartment had everything we needed. The location was prime and there were great restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. Communication was seemless and we were able to get into the place close to midnight with no hassle. The bed was comfortable and linens as well as some toiletries and bottles of water were kindly available. Definitely try the “chopped cheese” at Farmer in the Deli next door! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!
The host was pretty easy to communicate with, and the check-in process was straightforward as long as you followed the instructions. Checking out was smooth as well. However, it was the little details that could have made the stay better. You could tell the cleaning could have been more thorough, as there was a water bottle under the bed. The toilet paper was very cheap, which may seem like a small detail, but it does make a difference. The bathtub drain was also slow, so the water took a while to go down. I also wish there had been at least one extra pillow, we were able to find blankets in the closet. Overall, considering the two-night stay and the location, it was a decent place to stay. With a little more attention to cleanliness and the small details, the experience could be much better.

Midtown East was a nice part of town to stay in and I felt like I got to experience staying in NYC like a New Yorker. That said, the experience staying here was just ok. The kitchen was a little sad (think one fork and knife, no coffee cups) and there was no microwave. The bed was just ok- very squishy and one real pillow per person. My main objections were that I didn't get good check in instructions until very late, like hours before. In addition, the requests to pick up packages for the host started before we checked in and I got two more after that. I thought this was very strange for a host to do, have never had this happen before.
We received great check in instructions except that the unit was in the other building and not the one the lock box was on. Thankfully the host answered my call immediately and with the help of the check in pictures we figured it out. The unit definitely needs love. We had to unplug the refrigerator the whole stay because the fan was screaming. The ac also marginally works and was so loud we turned it off too. Stuffed animals left under bed not ours. Bathroom as clean as it could be, but definitely needs work. Location could not have been more ideal.
