Enjoy the tranquility of this cottage, a beautifully maintained 1920s cottage nestled into the Blue Ridge Mountains of Transylvania County and just minutes from Brevard, NC.
Just half an hour from Ashville, 2 hours from Charlotte, 2.5 hours from Columbia, SC and 4 hours from Charleston, SC; it’s a perfect weekend escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Come relax and rejuvenate in the clean air of the mountains and enjoy all that this home has to offer.
The cottage is a charmingly restored cottage with two bedrooms with two queen beds which share a full bath with tub and shower. Beautiful original hardwood floors are found throughout and a large eat in kitchen with seating for 6. A fully equipped kitchen with stove and dishwasher will also greet you. This retreat is perfect for two couples or a family looking to enjoy all that Brevard and its surrounding areas has to offer.
Take your pick on where to kick your feet up. Enjoy the wood burning fireplace in the living room with a glass of wine or relax on the porch swing with your coffee on the expansive front porch. Behind the cottage you’ll find a great deck for outdoor entertaining and dining and great patio space with a campfire pit, perfect for s’mores. It's the perfect cottage for a home base when exploring. I have done many renovations to the cottage since purchasing it and hope you will enjoy it as much as I do!
What makes this property unique
I love the front porch swing and back deck, the original hardwood floors and fireplace are also just as wonderful (built in 1928). Simple and understated. Gas grill is great for BBQs in the spring and summer. Amazing locale - steps away from any outdoor adventure you wish to partake in.
