Very peaceful, clean property! Owner welcome was a nice touch. Didn't know it was catch and release at the pond and lake though.

We’re sorry this guest was unhappy with his stay, but we do want to clarify the circumstances surrounding his concerns. When he contacted us about the thermostat, we responded promptly and arranged for it to be assessed that morning. The thermostat was found to be functioning properly; however, because of its age, we subsequently had it replaced after a service professional inspected it. The guest also reported an issue with the refrigerator/freezer. I personally went to the property the following day and corrected the refrigerator issue. As part of our follow-up, we subsequently purchased new refrigerators for both cabins. Unfortunately, the guest chose to leave before we had the opportunity to fully address his concerns during his stay. We take maintenance issues seriously and make every effort to respond promptly and appropriately whenever something is brought to our attention. We strongly disagree with the characterization of the host as dishonest. Our communication throughout the stay was professional, responsive, and focused on addressing each concern reported to us.

We had a lovely stay at the Laurel cabin! It was clean, cozy, and set in a beautiful, peaceful area. The owner even came by to say hello, which made it feel extra welcoming.Even a little misunderstanding that was handled professionally by properly manager did not affect our overall experience ! We would be happy to come back.

Emerald Lake is very well kept. Nice landscaping and neat appearance. A beautiful, quiet, relaxing place. Very clean inside and out. It was just secluded enough for us, yet less than 10 minutes from Hwy 276 and a couple of small restaurants and a coffee shop. It was also just 10 minutes to Dupont State Forest for hiking. The Sassy Goose pavilion/shelter was a nice touch with bocci ball, cornhole, etc. Really great place to relax. I hope we're able to come back!

Lee was an absolute pleasure to host at the Laurel. Communication was friendly and easy from the beginning, and Lee took wonderful care of the cabin throughout the stay. Everything was left clean and in great condition, and we truly appreciated the care and respect shown for the property. We always love hosting guests who seem to genuinely enjoy their time at Emerald Lake, and Lee was certainly one of those guests. We would be delighted to welcome Lee back anytime and would happily recommend Lee to other hosts.
