REST AND REFRESH
Enjoy beautiful mountain and valley views from every room of this private treehouse located minutes from the entrance to Pisgah National Forest, DuPont State Forest, Brevard, and Hendersonville. Hiking and biking, as well as kayaking and canoeing opportunities abound. After a day of hiking in the forest(s), trout fishing or tubing on the Davidson River, tooling around downtown Brevard or downtown Hendersonville, come home to relax in your own private retreat. Winter stays will allow you to enjoy the cozy wood-burning stove (with all supplies onsite and ready for you), while Spring and Summer offer opportunity to open the windows and listen to the sounds of nature and enjoy the refreshing, cool mountain breezes. In the Fall, you'll be nestled among the vibrant color of the changing leaves. Regardless of the time of year, you'll want to be sure to catch the sunset over the mountains!

PRIMARY BEDROOM
Expansive views of the surrounding mountains and valleys
Black out shades allow you to sleep in on the luxurious queen-sized bed with cozy linens
Private porch for enjoying breakfast in your pjs, or solitude among nature.
Take a brisk morning walk along the mountain on the gravel road.

SECOND BEDROOM/OFFICE
The second bedroom is perfect for kids, if you decide to bring them with you. A relaxing lounging futon gives opportunity for reading, playing games, or bird-watching, or extends to a full-sized bed for sleeping. A desk also allows for the quick check of emails or time spent writing about the adventures of your stay.
o The second bedroom is nestled between the master bedroom and the main living area, with a pocket door on either side to allow for privacy, though Mom and Dad will have to walk through the 2nd bedroom to return to the main living area of the house.

Beautiful views in a perfect location

This is a lovely little place with an amazing view. I love that it feels so remote yet is close to downtown Brevard, which has some really cute shops and nice galleries. There are also many great areas to hike and bike close. The host was very helpful and kind. I would stay here again.

Can't go wrong with this one

Excellent stay at a great place. Literally couldn't find anything wrong with it (not that I am that person). This is a place that you definitely will want to book again and again. Also it is not mentioned in the bed count but the loveseat in the living room provides a third bed in addition to the other two.

NC Hiking Adenture

Treehouse was beautiful, peaceful and views were spectacular. Wonderful views from porch/deck or bedroom. Place was well stocked, clean and maintained. Short drive to Brevard which has a nice selection of grocery stores, restaurants and shops. Also close to Pisgah National Forest, DuPont State Rec area and Gorges State Park we saw 11 waterfalls on our trip. Sandy communicated very well check in and check out was very easy.

Getaway before my 34th year as a teacher begins!

Quiet and peaceful cabin. The view atop the trees makes you feel as if you are 1,000 miles away from others and the stress of life.

Perfect quiet getaway

My husband, teenager, and I had a wonderful time. We vacation in western North Carolina almost every summer, and this location is a great combination of convenience and privacy. The views are just as fantastic as they are in the photos, even during the summer. We loved sitting on the porch, watching thunderstorms roll in or enjoying the sunset. The cabin was comfortable and well-decorated - and importantly, very clean! I normally have to scour every surface in a rental because it doesn't seem clean, and I loved not having to stress over that. We cooked dinner several nights, and had everything we needed. Overall, it was a great place to escape the heat for a week, and we highly recommend it.

A perfect way to enjoy the NC mountains

The treehouse was perfect for our recent mountain trip! Our daughter was very excited about having her own little room with the futon bed. We loved the setting in the trees and the huge windows that showcased the beautiful view. Easy drive to enjoy all of the parks and falls, as well as, the downtown area of Brevard.

Wonderful Retreat

NC mountain getaway

Used to live in Raleigh NC area for 30 years, just these past 2 years I live in FLA-miss mountains for sure! Got a great mtn fix at the 'treehouse' with plenty of peace & some good hiking. Sandy talked me off the ledge driving up the road as GPS took me to a wrong turn with a VERY bad driveway. House was immaculate; bedroom was a little warm but floor fan helped tremendously. Loved having coffee on the deck. :)

Clean, convenient, and cozy

If you are a couple (or a small family) heading to Western North Carolina to experience all that the Brevard area has to offer, look no further than the Treehouse. The price is right, the place is immaculate inside and out (cleanest VRBO I've ever stayed in), it has everything you need for a weekend or longer, it was convenient to Pisgah National Forest and Dupont State Recreational Area, and it even comes with a view! We soaked up the solitude! Five plus stars!

Just a house, surrounded by trees

Beginning with the good - the house was clean, check in and out was easy. I decided to splurge for the last two nights of our (just over) week long vacation. We stayed in Brevard for most of the week and had a great time. The price of the entire week in Brevard was less expensive than two nights at this house. Unfortunately it was neither a treehouse, nor had spectacular views. It's just a house surrounded by trees, with a somewhat difficult entry, and an okay mountain view from the living room window. You get better views just driving around the town. There are also a lot of other houses around you. The house itself was okay, nothing spectacular. There is a single window AC unit which struggled to cool the house. There is a vent that pulls the air to the rest of the house, but it is extremely loud and not very effective. At the end of the day, I wish we had stayed at the first house in Brevard. This was just not worth the incredibly high price tag for a less convenient location.

Absolutely serene!

Not only is this “treehouse” in a beautiful wooded setting, but it has a great view, is incredibly clean, and just generally has a great vibe. We enjoyed every minute of our stay here. Being from Florida, we really enjoyed eating out on the porch without getting heat stroke or getting eaten by mosquitoes. Sitting there with my family enjoying the weather and the view and great conversation was an absolute favorite memory of mine. The location of the place seems remote but there are so many wonderful things to do in the area that only take 20 minutes or so to get to. We can’t wait to come back here to make more memories.

We purchased this property because it enables us to slip away from the busyness of our daily lives without having to travel very far. We live in the neighboring county and treasure quiet moments to relax and unplug in this house, as well as visit the Brevard area restaurants and hiking/biking trails. We want it to be a blessing for others coming to visit this beautiful area.
