The cozy atmosphere and beautiful decor make it the perfect retreat for guests looking to unplug and unwind. Are you ready to experience life on a small farm? Welcome to Twisted J's Farmhouse. A one-of-a-kind rural escape where the pace is slow, the skies are big, and the friendly farm animals are your closest neighbors. Nestled on 17 acres, our cozy farmhouse offers a rustic stay with a twist. Wake up to the sounds of roosters, sip your morning coffee while watching cows graze, and spend your evenings stargazing by the warm firepit. Guest may interact and feed the provided snacks to the farm animals. Our farm is located 9 miles from the historic downtown Oxford, MS with lots of great shopping & 10 miles from Ole Miss campus. Take in a game while you are here and experience life in The Grove while also enjoying your stay here on the farm. We would love to be your next host and provide you and your family with a lifetime of memories. No events/parties allowed on property. Only approved guests may be present unless authorized by owner. Quite time hours run from Midnight to 6 AM

Hello, my name is Deanna, I am a registered nurse and owner of Twisted J Farms. I enjoy hunting, fishing, nascar, farming, and spending time with my fur babies on the farm. I am the mother of two wonderful college kids. I look forward to being your host and will work hard to ensure you have a wonderful stay at Twisted J.

Why they chose this property

Twisted J is a small 17 farm that sits right outside of Oxford, MS city limits. The physical address is Abbeville but the farm is actually on 10 miles from the Historic Downtown Oxford Square. You will only be minutes from Ole Miss and Ubers come and go from the farm picking up guests who prefer not to drive into town. It’s a perfect location to come and visit Oxford but also be able to take in a starry night or a peaceful cup of coffee watching a beautiful sunrise.

What makes this property unique

Here at Twisted J, we raise small cattle called Dexters. We also raise Quarter Horses and pygmy goats. You will be allowed to interact and feed treats to the fur babies daily. Snacks for the farm animals will be left in your home, for you to use if you would like to interact with them. They will come up to the fence to greet you daily. They love people!
