Lakeside 3 bedroom retreat with game room, hot tub and kayaks

Your home away from home in Commerce Township with 3 brilliant bedrooms - 2 king beds, 1 with an optional additional queen murphy bed, and 1 queen bedroom downstairs. Fully stocked kitchen, game room with fusball, air hockey, arcade game. 6 person hot tub. Across the street from lake access including park with playgrounds, sandy beach, swim area. 3 kayaks with life jackets to take to the water for a fun day out.

There is a gravel parking pad on the property where a boat trailer could be stored during the stay. With multiple public access lakes around you enjoy being on the water and relaxing at home afterwards. Long lake boat launch is 0.3 miles away, Union lake launch is 1 mile away.

Fire pit with seating for 6, gas grill with propane provided. Patio with couch seating and table and chairs. Also an artificial grass area with giant Jenga and giant connect 4.

Pet friendly with pet bowls provided, kid friendly (pack and play with mattress, high chair provided, baby gate at the top of the stairs) so bring the whole family!

Adorable lakehouse! The beds were super comfortable, which is not the norm with most rental properties we've stayed at. We had such a relaxing getaway with the family for Mother’s Day weekend! The property was spotless, the game room was a huge hit, and the special treats for our dog were such a thoughtful touch. We loved spending time in the hot tub and around the fire pit each night. Highly recommend for a fun and relaxing family escape!

Everything was exceptional. Fit our families need perfectly. The amenities were amazing ( hot tub, kayaks, beach and game room). There were 8 of us ages 73-9, plenty of room and something for everyone. Plenty of parking.Easy check in and accessibility. Would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful time at this peaceful and spacious lake cottage. Just steps to a quiet sandy beach for the kids to relax and play after hockey camp. They loved walking down the block to get DQ in the evening. Plenty of room for our party of 5. The outdoor seating area was so comfy and relaxing. Well-appointed kitchen and we loved getting the paddleboards out! Having a huge laundry room was a great bonus for all the hockey gear drying!

It was a great place to stay, with cozy vibes, pleasant views, and plenty of amenities for our family to enjoy. We visited for a ski weekend at Alpine Valley, so we didn’t get to experience the lake other than the nice view, but I can tell this would be an amazing summer getaway as well.

My friend and I met here with our kids (four teens). The space was amazing - plenty of room to relax on the patio and around the fire pit, or connect over canoeing, swimming, hot tubbing, foosball, ping pong, air hockey, xBox, and other games. Beds were super comfortable. We all enjoyed our own plans of relaxing and napping when we wanted and socializing as desired - and we ALL love the idea of returning to do it again! While the location IS pet friendly, it did not smell of pets and did not have any evidence (hair, damage, etc.) that pets had been there at all! There are steps to negotiate if that's a concern (only to the upstairs bedrooms/bathroom and to step down into the kitchen area). Not far from restaurants or groceries. Plenty of parking. The host is very thoughtful and accommodating. We hope to return!

Excellent family rental on Long Lake in Commerce Township! We cannot say enough great things about this cottage. It’s fantastic for families with kids! The cottage is at the end of a dead end road so it’s fabulous for families with little kids. The park and beach are right across the drive just a few steps from the cottage. Literally everything is provided and the hosts are wonderful to work with! Our grandkids can’t wait to return!

Great location, host communication, and amenities. Our party of 5 adults found that the cottage has everything we needed to cook, relax, and enjoy this water adjacent location. Very quiet neighborhood with ample space inside and out for 5 adults to spend 2 nights. The paddle boards/kayaks/life jackets were bonus fun for our group. Beds are super comfy!The host, Sarah, was very communicative and even had a.v. cables/adapter to help us run an old vcr!
