Pros: Friendly/responsive host prior to booking, still friendly (but less responsive) after there were issues.The unit was large, had quality (but older/in need of TLC) furniture.It was within walking distance to Istiklal St and Taksim Square (10 minutes), grocery/convenience stores, eateries, odds-and-ends stores (1-5 minutes), etc.The WiFi was strong (but had some hiccups, and did not really reach to the back bedrooms, despite a repeater). Beds and towels seemed clean.Cons:The apartment looks great in the photos, but the reality is very different - many items were worn/old, a bedroom door was broken, there was water damage on the walls, dirty towels in the bathroom closet, a broken bathroom sink, some exposed outlets and more.The elevator was broken and walking to and from the 6th floor was very hard. There is little to no sound insulation in the windows/balcony doors, and you can hear every car, every moped, every siren up close, especially in the front bedroom and living room - and given its proximity to the tourist areas, it is loud at night. There were some supplies, but the absolute bare minimum - tiny hotel shower gels/shampoos (for a 12-day stay), some cleaning solutions, a bag of salt in a cabinet, but no hand soap, no dishwashing liquid, no helpful supplies expected from a hosted apartment.Overall - I would not recommend. And given reviews of other apartments by Central Apartments (including on other websites) - I would not recommend this host at all.
