Cleanliness was superb. The kitchen, bathrooms, and every area of the home exceeded expectations—we truly felt at home. The place was immaculate compared to others we’ve visited, and communication with the owner was excellent.
The hot tub was warm and relaxing, and although I don’t usually leave reviews, this stay absolutely deserves one—the listing truly doesn’t do it justice. The kids were well entertained, with a living room stocked full of games, and the kids’ room offered plenty to keep the little ones busy as well.
The host was thoughtful and even stocked extra propane tanks, though we had brought our own. The balconies felt like little getaways on their own. What started as a simple fishing trip turned into so much more—we fried fish and even boiled crawfish outdoors. This is definitely a wonderful family-friendly property.
If I had to mention a downside, it would be the stairs. At 60 and 71, my husband and I found them a bit challenging, though our sons and grandkids had no issues at all. Fish were biting until late night but the boat dock is located a shoet diatanxe where we were able to catch a cople of catfish and added to the fishfry.
One last note—the host went above and beyond. I accidentally lost my mother’s ring while packing, and the host found it, sent a photo, and is mailing it back to me. That kind of care meant a lot.
Highly recommend this property and will definitely visit again.
