Beautiful resort and nice studio condo, as advertised. However, it is quite new and there are growing pains. I've never poorly rated a Vrbo stay before, but the way the Vrbo treated me was horrendous. The wifi password was incorrect, but it took 2 hours of texts before they realized the owner had changed it and added a "period" to the end. The worst part was the lack of hot water in the bathroom shower. The Vrbo was quick to respond and they sent maintenance over, but they said everything was "fine" after only checking the sink. Two more visits, and no change. Finally I cancelled dinner plans and sat there waiting for them, and then they acknowledged the issue. They changed out the hot water heater, but still, only minimal hot water. The HOA "boss" Daniel Juarez told me the hot water heater was just too small for the unit, and this was a "real problem" for them. 10 minutes later I get a text from the Vrbo host that said the HOA told them everything was just fine "in writing" and that I was asking for water over 140 degrees. WHAT??!! Riduculous. I would take 100 degrees! The heated pool is warmer than this shower! So... I was basically dismissed, called a "liar" and I stopped reporting the issue because I had spent over 5 hours dealing with this by texts, waiting for maintenance guys, canceling dinner, and showering at a friends' condo. Hopefully the owner does their own research and they can resolve the issue.
