I’m originally from the North East, but I have called Park Rapids my home since 2019. It’s been a perfect town to raise my growing family. I have been the manager of The Bobber house since 2020 and when the owners decided to sell after last season, I couldn’t let my connection to the house go. I’m hoping to continue to make Park Rapids a special visit to all who stay!
Why they chose this property
The Bobber House is perfectly situated along the Fishhook River, offering boat access to Fishhook Lake, while Mud Lake sits just across the street with peaceful views of swans gliding by. Throughout the summer, guests are treated to incredible wildlife sightings—from bald eagles and blue herons overhead to turtles crossing the yard and otters and loons playing in the water. There’s never a dull moment.
The neighborhood is quiet and tucked near the end of a cul-de-sac, creating a relaxed, private feel. Many guests enjoy biking or running along the nearby Heartland Trail, located just up the road, making this location both serene and convenient.
