I'm born in New Jersey, raised in Texas and am now based between Miami and Madeira. I've spent the past 10 years balancing travel and work and finally earned enough income to fulfill a lifelong dream of owning a property in another country. My travel journey began when I experienced Costa Rica for the first time. A chance encounter at a College party changed my life and I was invited to Punta Leona to play some songs with group of people I barely knew. It was my first time out of the country and I was able to stay at an unbelievable resort but also experience life through the owner of the property. He had a property much similar to the one that I now have and, since that trip, I vowed that I would to own a similar property and share it with others in hopes that it would inspire them like my friend inspired me.
Why they chose this property
I wanted something different and remote. Living in Miami can be very fast paced so I wanted something extremely slower and secluded. It doesn't help that I was initially told that this house was the (James) "Bond" House only to find out it was a name the realtor made up.
What makes this property unique
This is a remote, hollywood style home. It is one of the most uniqe properties on the island. While a slight trek from Funchal, it is not unreachable and is similar to a drive from Miami to Ft. Lauderdale or Dallas to Ft. Worth. :)
