Magnificent house to rest from the city stress and enjoy the unparalleled nature and beauty of the north of the island of Madeira. Wrapped in organic gardens and tropical fruits, farm with animals, organic chickens and small pigs of India. Full bathroom, fireplace inside, free WIFI, cable TV, work desk, washing machine, iron, bathroom with towels, bed sheets, toilet paper and with hot water included, 1 cot, curtains to darken the room, 3 double beds, full kitchen, microwave, crockery and tolheres, refrigerator, stove with oven. Maison simple et spacieuse au calme

Les propriétaires sont très gentils et discrets, Daniel a été très réactif à nos sollicitations diverses par mail. Le charme de cette maison au confort simple est son emplacement au nord de l’île dans un village calme. Il ne faut pas oublier les 2 terrasses avec vue mer et la mise à disposition de machine à laver et sèche linge très utiles au retour de rando.

Perfect

Beautiful home in a beautiful little town. Was perfect for our family in every way: spacious, comfortable and in an excellent location walkable to many convenient places, not the least of which the little “snack bar” at the end of the driveway, where we were able to eat good food, partake in poncha and local libations and get to know some locals. As mentioned in other reviews, our children loved the guinea pigs and rabbits. Add in the delicious cherry liquor and wine available for purchase, and the stay was just perfect.

Country house in the north of Madeira.

The furniture is a bit old and the cleanliness not perfect, a bit like a country house. However the appliances are recent. The house is large, the garden pleasant. Animals, hens, rabbits and guinea pigs are there for the joy of the children. Above all, Daniel and his family are very friendly hosts, full of attention (fruit from the garden, cherry alcohol and even rum tasting). It is a pleasure to discuss with him about life in the north of Madeira.

Heel gastvrij verblijf

De eigenaar van de woning is heel gastvrij: Hij laat zijn gasten kennis maken met de vruchten van het land (wij kregen regelmatig bananen en ander fruit uit zijn tuin), is bereikbaar en als er hulp nodig is aarzelt hij niet om actie te nemen. Zijn doel is de gasten een heerlijke vakantie te geven en te delen in zijn liefde voor Madeira. Het huis is sober, maar biedt alles wat nodig is. De locatie is heerlijk rustig, buiten het toeristische gebied, met uitzicht op zee en kleine winkeltjes voor brood, etc. in de buurt. Ook de buren zijn vriendelijk. Een echte aanrader voor diegenen die Madeira's mensen willen leren kennen.
