About the host
Your host
Hello there! I'm Joe and am aerospace engineer. But my real passion is languages and cultures though. That's why I love to travel, domestically or abroad, to learn about others and the places they live in. I look forward to hosting you. I want you to know that you can always expect respect, transparency and clear communication from me.
Why they chose this property
Loogoote is such a small but charming town. My family and I came here for work and have enjoyed the quiet and peaceful neighborhood.
What makes this property unique
History! History! History! Oh If the walls could talk. The PB Larkin Mansion has witnessed 160+ years of US History. From the cellar that stored coal to heat all the fireplaces (and possibly may have been part of the Underground Railroad to Indianapolis), to the enduring charm of a city in the National Register of Historic Places, the mansion has been restored and staged to represent a Victorian era mansion from the late 1800's.
