This was our third visit to Dakota Lodge. This 1st floor poolside unit offered a nice break from needing to use the elevator but still had a view of the ski slope! We valued being able to see the hot tubs and jump in when they weren’t crowded; there were a lot of families with children who were very much enjoying the pool and hot tubs, so being able to see when they thinned out helped us enjoy them too. The beds were very comfortable! Good water pressure and plenty of hot water in the shower. Kitchen had everything we needed! Excellent communication from the Summit Cove team!

Nice unit, very clean and had everything we needed. Pool was lovely and access was great. Check in process was straight out of the 70’s. Had to go pick up key cards at their office which wasn’t in the building and couldn’t get them until check in time. The frustrating part was the pre-check in letter implied that if you created a log in you would get a code. It was confusing and frustrating particularly when every other rental sends a code for easy access. Would likely avoid Summit rentals in the future for this reason.

Thank you for your feedback, Kim. We're glad you enjoyed your stay and the amenities. Keystone is slowly changing from key cards to door code access, but it is managed by the resort and per building HOA, not by condo or by the property management company. Our communications state that you can log into the guest portal and any codes you would need during your stay would be activated at check-in time. The pre-check-in letter also clearly outlines directions to our office to pick up your keys so that our guests can properly navigate arrival and check-in. We do hope you will consider a future stay with us as key vs door code access to each property is not managed by our team and we would love the opportunity to host you again. ~SummitCove Lodging
