We were unable to checkin, door code didn’t work. Host was unresponsive. Host eventually replied that they were 2 hours away and were coming. However,. Cleaners were unable to get in to clean up after previous guests. Host claimed they were unaware of issue. We were literally left without a place to stay. Host refunded the “rental” fee but did not cancel our reservation with Vrbo. Vrbo will not refund our fee as host did not “cancel” our reservation. Needless to say it’s currently a wild goose chase.

Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry that your check-in experience did not go as planned. Our goal is always to provide a smooth and comfortable stay for every guest, and we regret that there was a misunderstanding regarding the entry access and cleaning schedule on that day.
As soon as we were made aware of the situation, we responded and issued a refund for the rental portion of the reservation. We always strive to communicate and resolve issues as quickly as possible.
