Our stay was extremely disappointing due to the condition of the property, which was not accurately disclosed. The complex was under heavy construction, with debris and construction dust everywhere—including around and in the pool, hot tub, and common areas (the pool maintenance guy even commented that he was surprised units were being rented out). We dealt with constant drilling noise all week instead of a relaxing beach environment, along with persistent cigarette and marijuana odors.One elevator was under construction and covered in boards, which felt unsafe. Beach access was frequently blocked by construction crews, forcing us to carry all of our gear and five children through active work areas while crews were power washing and drilling/working directly above us. The grounds were unsafe—our children could not walk barefoot due to nails and construction materials. The assigned parking space was unusable for an SUV due to a sharp angle, forcing us to park outside the complex.The unit itself was underwhelming, with visible water damage and very minimal amenities. Unlike every other stay we’ve had in the panhandle over the past 10 years, the beach and umbrella service was not included without an added fee, which was very disappointing. There were no games, puzzles, or activities in the complex and not nearly enough blankets, leading to uncomfortable sleep.This experience fell far below expectations. We will not return to this unit, this complex, or Pensacola Beach.
