We are in the heart of the historic district in Savannah Georgia! Your steps from the world-famous Forsyth Park! A quick walk to the Starland district, and about a 15-minute walk to the river and heart of downtown (5-minute Uber). You’re close enough to everything to be there in steps, but far enough removed to have peace when you return home for the evening.
Getting Around:
Monthly stays only.
You can walk pretty much anywhere in the historic district, downtown, and The Starland district. You’re only about a 15 to 20 minute drive to North Tybee Beach.
We think that walking around town is the best way to see the city! But, if riding is more your speed, Ubers are abundant and affordable and there’s a free shuttle that takes you anywhere in the historic district at the head of Forsyth Park, about four blocks away.!
If you drove here, park on one of the many available on-street spots and walk or ride around Savannah. You can also secure a parking pass for the city through the visitor center. It's a great spot to start your stay by grabbing tons of information and flyers for local businesses.
** Note: Attention must be paid to the street sweeping schedule to avoid a parking fine when parking on the street. There are signs posted on the side of the road with sweeping times. Simply move your vehicle to the opposing street to avoid a fine. Also, ensure to pay for parking using the ParkSavannah App. Simply open the app, enter the code on the parking spot found painted oin the ground, and pay. Parking is free all day on Sundays and between 8pm and 8am all other days.
Other Things to Note:
Monthly stays only.
We ask that the space, other guests, and our neighbors be treated with dignity and respect. Please respect the home and its rules. This will help us maintain peace and ensure that all of our guests have a wonderful Savannah Stay!
Metered street parking is available on the front and back of the property on East McDonough Street. This area is shared with other residents, and it is on a first-come, first-served basis with no assigned spots.
Please be aware that even though we spray for bugs on a quarterly basis, you might see palmetto bugs, wasps, and other insects during your stay. They usually come out to die, but please do your best to keep them out of the house by keeping the windows and doors shut at all times, only bringing food items to the dining room, and keeping trash in the trash can.

We live close by, so we are available to our guests day and night. You are welcome to reach us via the app or by calling us anytime. We are here for you!
You are set up for self-check-in. The codes and instructions will be sent to you via the app by 3pm on your arrival day. It is important that you visit the check-in guide for step-by-step instructions on how to enter the property.
