Pros: Clean, had the necessities, clear hot tub, beautiful view, convenient location.Cons: Had rather small threadbare towels, no bar soap, and smelled strongly of cooked shrimp when we arrived :/ We tried to air it out, but it never went away all weekend. We had to wash all of our textiles when we got home.

I fell in love with this location because it truly offers the best of both worlds. You're nestled in peaceful wooded surroundings with easy, flat access (no scary mountain roads!), yet you're just minutes from all the action.

The cabin is close to Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies, and Ober Gatlinburg, making it perfect for couples who want adventure at their fingertips but complete tranquility when they return "home."

What really sold me was the proximity to the Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community—an 8-mile loop featuring over 100 local artists and craftsmen. It's the largest independent organization of artisans in the United States and you can watch artists at work, shop for unique handmade treasures, and enjoy local restaurants along the scenic route. There's even a free trolley that takes you through the entire loop if you want a relaxing day of exploring without driving.

Downtown Gatlinburg is just a short drive away, giving you easy access to incredible restaurants, entertainment, the famous Gatlinburg SkyBridge, Anakeesta mountaintop park, and all the charm of the Parkway.
