About the host
Hosted by Jason Martin
The Martin family lives in the greater Atlanta area. We are new to hosting and are looking forward to sharing our unique Statesboro home with guests. We hope you all like the style and enjoy your time at That 70s House.
Why they chose this property
We chose this house given its proximity to the GSU campus and regional hospital. It is walkable to both, especially the hospital. Campus and the football stadium are a bit more of a walk, but you can do it if you allow 30 minutes at an easy pace.
What makes this property unique
The 70s, of course. Michelle is a child of the early 70s, and I am a child of the late 60s. Both or our early memories are from the 70s, and we both love the music from that decade. We wanted to decorate the place to feel like that era. So, you will get a lot of color and some funky wallpapers. In addition to the decor, the house was built in 1973, and it has original, unique features from that era, such as the sunken living room, the dark walnut built-in cabinets with wet bar, and the avocado green tile in the Flower Power full bath. Several of the light fixtures are original, as well.
