Magnificent panoramic lake views from the large windows surrounding the home! Lake views from every room. Please keep in mind water at our dock fluctuates with different weather conditions. Lake levels are out of our control, currently our lake is FULL. There are parks, caverns, and areas very close by to enjoy your stay at the lake. Plus, you’ll have beautiful views that will be there.

This gorgeous, modern remodeled 2,500 sq. ft.4 bed, 3 bath home is located on Lake Buchanan and boasts beautiful views of the lake from every room. It's the perfect getaway for your family, anyone who likes to fish, go boating, kayaking, or even if you just want a little peace and quiet getaway. Follow the beautiful walkway (made from rocks mined in our yard and locally) in our backyard to access the lake. Maybe you'd prefer hanging out under any of our large oak trees on the property. Where ever you choose to be, you're sure to enjoy your stay. Closeby, you'll find venues, trails, Spider Mountain, and other attractions.

When you walk in you will be captivated by views of the lake. Follow the bamboo floors through the main floor area to find a full size guest bathroom, large living room and open concept kitchen. Great areas for entertaining guests and a kitchen with pots, pans, utensils, and much more. Everything you'll need to cook a nice meal. You will also find the large master bedroom with views of the lake and a comfy king bed in the master. It has a connecting private bathroom that reminds us of going to the spa. With its beautiful atmosphere you're sure to feel right at home! It has a large soaking tub, shower, and separated sinks. We have a washer and dryer available for your use on the main level. When you're done eating inside and want to take in the fresh air, walk out on our large patio deck where you can watch the sun rise or even sunset, so relaxing.

Walk upstairs to find 2 more bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The bathroom has a bathtub/ shower combo and 2 sinks. The first bedroom is great for your family. It has a full size bed and bunk beds, too. You'll find beautiful views of the lake from the windows. The second bedroom has 1 queen size bed and 2 twin beds with gorgeous views of the lake. Can you imagine waking up and looking out the window to see the water? It's marvelous!

Walk downstairs from the main floor and find the 4th bedroom with a daybed and Cabinet queen sleeper, along with a large TV, ping pong/ billiards table. We can accommodate 4 people on the bottom floor also.

2 outdoor porches, plus a flagstone patio to enjoy the outdoors.

Damage: Upon leaving, if the house is not as you left it, or items are broken or damaged you will be held responsible and financially liable for the damages. Accidents happen, so If there are damages and talk to us about it, we would love to help you work things out and find a way to fix/ replace it:).

This is a wonderful property and you can feel the love the family has for their home. The host was quick to respond and the details of decorating, comfort and customized welcome message made our stay special. We absolutely enjoyed our Thanksgiving weekend at the Sunset Cliff Retreat. Heather made us feel so welcome and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. There was plenty of room and beds for the 10 of us. The home is beautifully updated with a great kitchen for preparing meals. It is well-stocked with towels, bedding, and all the kitchen necessities. There were games and puzzles available for some fun family time. Great location right on the water. Thanks for a great Thanksgiving weekend!

Nice area

House is very nice. Lots of rules but most easy to follow. Lake is very, very low, but still nice views and area has lots of hills and cliffs and ricks to climb. Sleeps a big group comfortably. Communication easy and prompt. Wifi limited but adequate for light usage and streaming. Enjoyed the local state parks, lots of good exploring and hiking. Limited restaurants but good grocery store in Burnet.

I was looking were to celebrate my birthday. Just have a nice gathering with friends. to be honest my birthday celebration was better than expected and planned. Heather was super sweet making sure i had a good time. The house, view and access to the lake is amazing and comfortable. The property host was always super responsive and helpful leading up to and during our stay. We loved the house. It is beautiful and has a gorgeous view of the lake that takes your breathe away when you first walk in. The location is perfect too. We spent most of our time floating in the water, a stones throw from the house, or sitting on the back porch chatting. We didn’t turn on a TV the entire stay. We also utilized the proximity of the property to other hill country favorites, hiking up about an hour north to Colorado Bend state park for a morning hike to Gormon Falls and also grabbing BBQ at the famous Coopers BBQ in Llano, tx about 45 minutes west. We definitely hope to be back one day with more kids in tow to enjoy the water!

Three family stay

We stayed at this house with two other families with small children; one family on each floor. The kitchen set up is great as is the location with the living room and balcony. Our families were able to congregate and then go back to our spaces for rest. The balcony easily fit our three families with plenty of space leftover to grill. The roof overhang above the balcony even allowed us to grill in a heavy downpour. The view is fantastic and the rain clouds made for a stunning sunset. Heather was very responsive and provided very clear instructions for cleaning up when checking out. The property is well managed and pride of ownership shows. We would definitely like to visit again!

July to Remember

My family and I had the pleasure of renting Heathers home for the month of July. We are a large family of 12 total and there was plenty of space for everyone to crash when they were there. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will ever need. I was pleasantly surprised to find a water cooler to be able to use even though we brought tons of water bottles. Beds are comfortable and so are the linens. Internet is horrible so take advantage of her DVD collection and bring some from home. We spent lots of time playing games, swimming in the lake, fishing and watching movies. Communication with host was top notch. Looking forward to staying here again!

Great Location - Some Things Not As Nice As Could Be for 10 Rating

We stayed at this lake house for a weekend with cousins and had a great time overall. The living room was very comfortable for hanging out, and having separate HVAC systems for each floor was a big plus—it kept the house comfortable throughout. The host was responsive and easy to communicate with.That said, there were a few drawbacks. The grill was messy and difficult to use precisely, and there was no speaker setup for music (no Bluetooth or Sonos). WiFi was very slow, which made streaming or working difficult. The downstairs level felt a bit disconnected from the rest of the house, and there was no soap in the showers when we arrived. Kitchen utensils were also pretty limited, which made cooking a little more effort than expected.All in all, it was a good stay with some room for improvement. We'd consider coming back with the right expectations.

Beautiful home and location

This is a beautiful home with an updated style. Love it and can’t say enough about the house. The view and location is amazing and unique. Things you may like or need to know. We did not have cell service (T-mobile). Make sure you get the Wi-Fi passcode we were there for 45 minutes before we found the code in the basement room on the box. Not a big deal unless you have no cell service and no way to communicate with anyone. On the note of the internet it is very slow and we were not able to stream movies without it rebooting every 2 minutes There is no cable TV so if you are a tv person may need to bring movies You cannot drink the water but she supplies drinking water You cannot put toilet paper in the toilet. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again

We are offering our home as a short term rental for your enjoyment. We bought this property, and gave it a HUGE overhaul, remodeled it according to the surroundings and wanted to bring the outside in as much as possible. We hope you'll enjoy our design and having a lake view from each of the rooms:). We are directly on the lake and have 2 balconies and an outdoor patio area as well for your enjoyment. Bring your own boat and use our dock (when water is up) or ask us about renting our lake toys. Our family LOVES spending time at Sunset Cliff on Lake Buchanan AND we know you will, too.
