This beautifully remodeled 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath, 2400 sq ft home on the water of Lake Buchanan is waiting for you! The amazing thing about this home is you have the comforts of a spacious, professionally decorated home matched with all that Lake Buchanan has to offer. No matter what brings you to the Texas Hill Country, this home allows you to relax on the decks, eat some of the most amazing fish you catch in our deep water, jet ski/boat, float in the lake, explore the historic town of Burnet, Wineries or Spider Mountain! If you bring your boat, you can tie it onto our large dock. *
Features include updated kitchen, washer & dryer, hardwood floors, 2.5 bathrooms, STARLINK wifi , A/C, heat, and fireplace, huge upper deck and extended deck right at the water, new deck off queen bedroom downstairs, boat dock, artificial turf, new exterior paint, roof and windows, charcoal BBQ, library and games. We are a bit rural out here and on a well that has a UV water softener system. This home is in a neighborhood.
We have 2 kayaks and a couple life jackets for your use, horse shoe pit, and yard. Lake Buchanan is the largest of the chain lakes in the Austin area and the water levels fluctuate often.

We do have a video ring doorbell at the front door and a camera facing the lower driveway area

Perfect house on the water

This house is beautiful, a roomy place for us, our friends, and a few of our adult children! The 7 of us had plenty of space, beautiful views, and good water access. The boat is responsive if you have questions. A very nice place to stay, is is our 2nd year in a row to come here.

Wonderful!

The house is great. So much room for our large family. Everything we needed for a wonderful vacation. We put our young adult boys downstairs and our daughters took the little twin bedroom, which worked out perfectly. The decor is very nice, the house is so comfortable, the outside areas fantastic. The view is stunning. Our family loved using the kayaks and fishing off the boat dock. We will definitely book again!

Another amazing getaway!

This is the second time we have stayed at this amazing Lake House, and we will keep coming back! The hosts are amazing and very responsive. Everything at the house is so easy and it is a such a relaxing getaway. Since the last time we went they added a really awesome dock that has kayaks and their views at sunset are breathtaking. The house is very cozy and there are a lot of different areas to hang outside. We can't wait to get back!

Perfect spot

We really enjoyed this home on the lake. Loved being able to dock the boat and enjoy all aspects of the lake and being outside. This property has so many features that our family enjoyed. Highly recommend staying here. Thank you again.

Family Getaway

It was a great place to stay with plenty of room for our family and was clean. Love being able to wake up in the morning and have my coffee on the deck while enjoying the lake view.

Weekend Getaway

We had a great stay! House was very clean and access to the water was excellent!!! We didn't kayak, but there were some available for use. The host was always quick to answer any questions and very accommodating! If you're looking for a relaxing weekend this is it! Hope to be back soon!!

Memorial Day

Beautiful property and house right in the water! Lots to do, kayak, horseshoes, swimming, and the view from the deck is lovely. Plenty of room for the 8 adults to eat in the kitchen or play games in the living room. We’ll be back next year!

Eclipse getaway on Buchanan Lake

Magical! The decks were well used and offered beautiful views of the lake and eclipse. We also lucked out on the weather. Kayaking was lovely. The rooms were clean and the kitchen was very well appointed. There was some sort of ‘event’ at the dam with loud music all night- probably eclipse related. The house was well insulated so we didn’t hear the music from inside. I’d highly recommend this stay.

Lovely Lake Weekend

We truly enjoyed this property. We visited with two other couples and the house had plenty of space and everyone was very comfortable. The views from the house are beautiful and fishing and tubing (while enjoying even better views) were great from the dock. I would highly recommend this home for a nice relaxing (and quiet) weekend getaway!

Wedding Weekend

Christmas on the lake

Family Christmas on the lake was great! Plenty of room for everyone beautiful views able to utilize boat dock for our pontoon and fire pit for amores with the grandbabies! Ms Connie even set up a tree and Christmas decorations for us making it truly memorable vacation!!

We Love This Property!

We had a lovely family getaway here for my sister in law and my birthdays this past weekend. This is the second time we have stayed at this property and will always look to return when wanting to visit the lake again! I recommend this property- especially if you bring your own kayaks! We had a great time fishing off the dock, kayaking, and enjoying all the views of the deck from many different points in house/on deck. I recommend without a doubt!

Spartan Race

Me and friends participated in the Spartan race and this house was the PERFECT spot to stay! Very convenient to course! Super nice house with great deck to rest and recover after race! Weekend family trip

Great location, beautiful sunsets, great deck area. The water was low, but we still enjoyed fishing and skipping rocks and collecting shells. Hiked in close by Inks lake, enjoyed the strawberry farm in Marble Falls and the Longhorn caverns tour. We had to wipe all deck chairs before use because of the pollen. We had to clean off the turf area due to excessive animal droppings.

Lovely house in great location on the lake

House was beautifully decorated and a comfortable size for our group of 10. Big windows in the living room and kitchen provide nice views of the lake. We enjoyed some amazing sunsets while we were there! The house sits in a nice long cove so it's quiet and peaceful, but easy access to main lake. The large balcony is perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine at night...and the stars are SO bright out there! The kids really enjoyed looking at the constellations from the balcony. The water was plenty deep by the dock for our boats and swimming, even though the overall lake level was down. The driveway is very steep and narrow so if you are bringing a boat trailer back to the house you might want to park it up by the street. Overall, this house is in a great location on the lake and the owners put a lot of work into making the interior of the house comfortable and beautiful. We enjoyed our time and would definitely stay here again!

Decent house but we had a bad experience.

I’ve debated the past few weeks whether to leave this review. The house itself was a decent space, but we had a not so great experience. When we arrived on check in day at exactly check in time, the house was not ready for us. Beds were unmade with dirty sheets on them still. I started taking matters into my own hands and removed the sheets to assure we at least had clean sheets. Upon further inspection, dirty towels were by washer, crumbs on table, crumbs on the bed, and dirty floors. My husband called the owners, she asked if we could leave so the cleaning lady could come by, we weren’t sure where we were supposed to go after traveling 5 hours to have a vacation. House was extremely hot when we arrived .Turned down AC to a reasonable temperature. My husband happened to notice the air return for the AC and it was caked with dirt. He opened it and the filter was also caked with dirt. We were assuming that’s why it was taking so long to cool down. We couldn’t find any air filters to change it for the owners so we bought one and replaced it. It was still 78 degrees after we turned down the AC 7 hours earlier. It was not pleasant. Definitely not ideal walking into a hot, dirty house to begin a vacation on the lake. House does have horrible rotten egg smell when running water for showers which isn’t disclosed until you arrive. But we moved on and tried to have a great stay once the above issues were somewhat solved. We checked out on our scheduled day at 9:45AM. On our way back home, I received a message on Saturday (before our Sunday check out day) from the owner saying that her next renters arrived and that the house was still occupied and that we need to get an ok before staying past our check out time. Clearly she was mistaken but I was extremely angry being accused of staying past our check out day. My husband had to call the owner again and ask what that was all about. She had gotten the days confused, I think I would check and double check myself before sending messages like that to renters. I know this review was long but definitely felt like others should know there have been issues. Anytime we called her she wasn’t very apologetic or sincere in her responses. We were refunded our cleaning fee and reimbursed for an air filter. But still not thrilled with the way the house was run considering the amount we paid . We have rented several houses a year through VRBO and this is the first time we have experienced this. We will not be back.

Why they chose this property

This is a great home for multiple families, kids, and adults. It does have stairs so is not ideal for people who have trouble with them. It's in a nice quiet cove that's perfect for floating, swimming, boating, fishing and watching fabulous Texas sunsets! We've just finished remodeling most of the house, including a brand new kitchen so it's even better than before.

What makes this property unique

The view of the lake from the kitchen, huge living room, and multiple decks are really unbelievable !
