Wonderful host who communicated well! Clean, relaxing stay with the family. Great view and plenty of places to sit. Lots of dishes for cooking needs. Tastefully decorated and plenty of blankets/pillows.We had to get towels and toilet paper from master bathroom as the main bathroom/smaller bedrooms weren’t stocked enough.We had issues with fire ants inside the house, mainly in the queen room closet. They got in our clothing so we had to shake everything out. Not sure why this happened as we didn’t have food in there and removed our shoes inside.Coffee maker filters didn’t fit the style coffee maker (basket filters, cone style maker) so coffee grounds ended up in our coffee. Overall my family was very pleased with this stay though, other than those small things. Would book again!

I'm sorry to hear the hiccups regarding your stay. The towels for the guest bedrooms are stocked in the bedroom closets and are stocked for one bath towel, hand towel and washcloth per person that the room can accommodate. Additionally coffee filters are located above the coffee maker in the cabinet. On occasion guests will leave some which can cause confusion, but we do have the coffee pot filters in addition to a Kurig for k cups (but those are guest provided). This information is provided in our welcome message along with our guest binder. I am very sorry to hear about the ants. We have brought out our pest company to address this immediately. That's no fun to have ants in your clothes and that is not the kind of Texas hill country experience we want you to have! We hope we will have an opportunity to host you again in the future!
