About the host

We’re a family of travelers who believe that the best memories come from the places that surprise you—and Kentucky surprised us in all the right ways. What started as a simple visit quickly turned into something deeper. We fell in love with the rolling hills, the small-town charm, the pride of the people, the patience behind every bottle of bourbon, and the incredible history woven into every corner of this state.
As parents, we’ve always valued experiences over things. We explore, we learn, we chase sunsets, and we try to pass that same sense of curiosity and appreciation on to our boys. Kentucky gave us that feeling—of discovery, of connection, of slowing down and enjoying what matters.
Lawrenceburg, especially, felt like home long before it was. The community welcomed us with open arms, the local stories pulled us in, and the bourbon culture gave us a new appreciation for tradition, patience, and craft. The more time we spent here, the more we knew we wanted to share it.
