Location and area of Chestnut House:
We are set in tranquil countryside with panoramic views over the valley and wooded areas. We are situated down a quiet lane with no through traffic, close to the centre of Paule where you will find a small bar and a pizzeria near the canal.
We are also only 0.6 miles from the Nantes–Brest Canal. There are plenty of places to go fishing, walking and cycling.
A little further away (1.9 miles) is Glomel, where you will find the beautiful Lake Coronc, which has a small beach and lots of water activities. There is also a bar, a pizzeria and a restaurant.
We are also only a 15-minute drive from the larger towns of Rostrenen and Carhaix-Plouguer, which have a number of bars, restaurants, shops and supermarkets.
Further beaches can be found at Lake Guerledan, 13 miles away, which hosts many outdoor activities and has restaurants such as the highly recommended Auberge de Guerledan close by.
• Guests are asked to leave the property clean and tidy. Failure to do this may result in withholding some or all of the Security Deposit.
