Very clean property in quiet location, fantastic views, close to shops and walks. Kitchen well appointed. Comfortable beds, would highly recommend and we hope to stay again.
Nice and clean. Unable to open back door to bar-b-que area, which was annoying, generally okay.

Excellent property, great condition, clean, easy access and close to everything in the Grampians. Saw kangaroos and emus in the backyard, so the kids loved it. Would come back again.

Liked the ambience and quietness, the fireplace and spaciousness.
Nice walk into town or around the area.
Milk could have been provided and the range hood over the stove is a bit low.

Such a lovely house, very homely and clean. I loved that there was many condiments and dish washing supplies in the house to use, I was expecting that I would need to buy them.

Nice get away at Grampians
Good location, newly renovated, clean. Lots of wild life around the property. A slight problem in the check in process, as the motel manage gave the wrong key safe pass code...would have been better if basic cooking materials are provided (example, Salt, pepper).

Great to hear you enjoyed your stay in Halls Gap. We will take your feedback on board regarding pantry items. The keysafe code had been changed and and an email advising of the change was sent to you, sorry you did not see that and your phone call on arrival fixed the issue straight away.
This is our third stay at Bagara cottage, obviously we enjoy it every time. Love the wood fire for the winter nights, new barbie, and the recliner chairs. Great location, kangaroos, blue wrens, cockies, rosellas, kookaburras are all frequent visitors. Love it every time.
We had a great stay at Bagara cottage. It's clean and well equipped. Situated in a lovely spot with nice views and great spots where the sun shines through on sunny days.
The bed was comfortable and the shower pressure is good.
If there was any other feedback for improvement it would be to have a fire place guard. We have a todder and it was a bit hard to keep her from going near the fire place.
Otherwise it was great.

Disappointing
House looks beautiful and homely on the outside, Inside lacked charm and appeal....cold decor. Ran out of toilet paper. Dishwashing liquid was almost empty.
Lovely quiet location with great veiws. The wood fire was easy to use but having access to smaller pieces of wood for lighting or a wood splitter would have been handy. ( understand that the owner may not want to leave an axe )
Compact property with abundant wildlife surrounding. We had kangaroos, rosellas, cockatoos, corellas visit every day and a cheeky magpie who wanted to come in the house. Wood fire was great and a BBQ for morning bacon and eggs. Terrific property.
4 things that need attention. BBQ had not been cleaned for use, oven temperature dial is broken so found it difficult to grill our steak, night lights above bed in the main bedroom are not working, back door handle near laundry does not work, would not open.
Otherwise everything else regarding this accommodation was perfect, thank you for allowing us to stay in your lovely holiday home .
And the view to that mountain face is wonderful, the wildlife was a joy and the accommodation was very comfortable.

Great to hear you had an enjoyable stay at Bagara Cottage. Thank you for your feedback and we have checked these things out and addressed (for future reference, the bedroom lights were dimmed, so you just need to turn the knob to brighten them). Look forward to having you back another time.
The house is just fantastic. Has so much on offer. So much crockery, cooking facilities.
Perfect family or friends retreat. So roomy with modern comfort. Close to town yet in a beautiful peaceful location. Great yard for some family game like badminton or Bocce. If not sot out side on the deck and enjoy the beautiful view of the pinnacle. Looking fwd booking again
Can't be happier with our stay at Bagara Cottage. Recently renovated and very clean, comfy and charming little cottage. Wildlife was literally only feet away grazing in the backyard. We had a lovely family holiday that ticked all the boxes. Janet was super helpful and got back to us with feedback immediately.

A cosy cottage in a stunning setting among the gum trees and kangaroos. Really loved the large and well-equipped kitchen. Our stay was only slightly marred by a couple of oversights - the main bedroom is lit by a Stygian ceiling light, with no bedside lamps at all (indeed, on one side of the bed, there isn't even a bedside table).
Also, although we loved the wood-burning stove, and appreciated the split timber that was laid out ready for us on the verandah, there was no newspaper and no kindling. We did eventually get a beautiful fire going, but with a great deal of difficulty.
And a maintenance issue - two of the bulbs in the living area are faulty and produce a constant flickering which is quite unpleasant to sit beneath (the two "cool" bulbs in the ceiling sets).

Loved the fireplace and spacious living areas. Balcony and BBQ were great as well. Had kangaroos visit the backyard most nights and kookaburras, emus and other wildlife nearby. Would have liked a guide on how the flue on the wood fire worked but googled instructions without too much trouble. Strange positionings on the shower shelf and toilet roll holder were quirks but did not detract from the experience. Overall excellent and would go again.
A super clean, simple cottage set in a gorgeous bush setting. Plenty of kangaroos and kookaburras to keep you company outside in the evenings. Location perfect - just out of town so very quiet, yet close enough to everything. Highly recommend
