Excellent location to hike. Home was perfect for our family of 6, which included 3 young children.
Birds, kangaroos and sheep on our door step or in the yard. Good communication with the owners. Loved our stay and strongly recommend this house.

A home away from home
This place was so inviting and homely. It was spacious and offered everything you could need for your stay. Our group of 8 guests loved the interaction with nature, and the spacious environment of this property. The view of the mountains is just amazing.
A comfortable and spacious home in a quiet location away from the crowds. Enjoyed the kangaroos and feathered wild life. Will definitely use this home again in future.
Mum weekend away. Your beautiful house allows for easy group entertaining and sharing. Thank you.

An exceptional holiday property for the family!
This place had everything. It was clean, spacious, had good facilities and ample accommodation, fantastic indoor and outdoor recreational areas and lots of wildlife. As hostess, Karen was wonderful. Her warmth and friendly nature came through in all communications. She was just delightful. Right down to the bottle of wine and chocolates on arrival. I could not recommend this place and Karen more highly!

Warm and welcoming
Warm and welcoming describes both the wonderful house (with it's toasty wood burning fire) as well as the lovely hospitality of Karen our host. We stayed with two adults and 4 teenagers and there was plenty of room for everyone in this well equipped, spacious and clean home. We felt at home from the moment we walked in and enjoyed the regular kangaroo visitors and kookaburras. The views of the mountain range behind are amazing and you really will be glad you stayed 'Beneath the Pinnacle.'

Great base from which to explore the Grampians!
We recently enjoyed a weekend catch-up with three other couples at this property. It is spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The wood heater warms the whole house with plenty of firewood available. Reverse cycle heating is available as an alternative. Extra bedding is generous. Host is very helpful and obliging. We would certainly recommend this property.
We were in the region to host a training camp for many ultra runners participating in the GPT 100 Miler event scheduled for November.
This place was perfect for the coaches and camp organisers to re charge between sessions.
Fantastic spot and open plan living and kitchen that worked for the group stay.
Loved our stay in this fabulous house. It was out from town in a quiet area visited by local wildlife. The house is spacious, very clean and has everything you need.
Plenty of room for our group, very clean, had kangaroos, cockatoos and Emus in the yard. Comfortable beds with plenty of linens. Everything you need in the kitchen and a great grill.
Wow - thank you for our welcome gift. All the comforts of home. we used the fire every night, thank you for your bundles of carefully tied twigs. Loved the Liquid Amber Tree out the front - we had many a leaf fight. Our beds were like sleeping on clouds. We cooked some of our meals and found everything we needed. Your home is well equipped down to the laundry detergent, individually bagged. It was great to have a large fenced property for the kids to get out and enjoy riding and walking with the kangaroos. Your home is a credit to you and your team. Thankyou .
Absolutely loved our stay. The house was extremely clean and well maintained. It had everything you needed. Location was fantastic. Great setting and close to everything. You could see the pinnacle lookout from the backyard. Lots of wildlife visited from birds to kangaroos. Sunrise on the pinnacle was amazing. We could see ourselves living there. Would recommend to anyone to stay at the property.
The location was perfect, the house was super clean and extremely well appointed. We walked in and felt instantly relaxed. The welcome gift was a lovely touch too! Highly recommend!
We really enjoyed our stay. The house was great. We really enjoyed lighting the fire pit and seeing kangaroos in the backyard. We’ll be back for sure. Thanks Karen for a wonderful stay.
Great house recently renovated very well (photos on stayz dont show reno at time of writing ) with everything you need for a short or long holiday . The house was clean and very comfortable in a great location kangaroos visit most evenings and was even lucky enough to have a couple of deers in the yard one night . Definitely will stay here again on next visit to halls gap
The house was so clean and tidy. Had all we could possibly need, so well set up. Lovely welcome to such a beautiful part of Victoria. Exc communication.
We had a lovely time at your place. Clean and well presented accommodation. The bunk beds were a bit squeaky and therefore my son had to sleep in the lounge room. Had a great weekend in Halls Gap. Great place for a holiday. We will return.
Whether you are a couple, a family, or even two families, we consider 'Under the Pinnacle' the best accommodation in Halls Gap [where the majority of accommodation is on top of each other with only a breath between each]. This is our second stay and the home has been newly renovated. It was perfect before and I can't give it more than 5 stars again. Karen and Brian are amazing hosts and are generous with all the quality inclusions in the home. They are also very gracious with their communications to ensure that everything is just right! Once again the animals visited us whilst we sat outside and soaked in the amazing everchanging colours of the environs around us.
