It was a nice spot for the family. Comfy beds, lots of space. Note that the walk to the beach is on the road with no shoulder in some parts. It’s very close to the beach, but wasn’t safe to walk there with the kids.
The house was perfect for hosting our large family, filled with all the essentials and even the games to keep the fun going. It is a pet friendly home although we didnt bring our animals. Very close to the beach and just the right distance away to be secluded and secure. Home was clean and provided plenty of extra bedding. There is even a trundle bed in the downstairs bedroom that the kids enjoyed sleeping on! Checking in was a breeze.

The house has a very strong odor that’s worst in the kitchen but present throughout the house, like the cumulative effects of many years of pet accidents. We brought groceries and had planned to cook a lot and that idea was immediately out. If you aren’t bothered by smells (some aren’t!), it’s serviceable and the beds and bedding are quite comfy. Ambience-wise, the place is charmless with no view and quite a bit of road noise. It’s the kind of place someone has bought as an investment and puts no love or character into. I would have given the place 3 stars if dealing with the host (Casago) was better. Casago took the experience from mediocre to really negative. Upon afternoon arrival, I inquired about the smell (as well as a small dedicated fish that had been left near the kitchen sink, which I thought was odd). No one replied substantively until late the next morning (nearly halfway thru out 2-night trip) by which time we’d already realized the smell wasn’t some accident just in the kitchen but something that permeated each room - and decided it’d be better to cut our losses and head home early. So we politely declined cleaning (the time for that is before guests arrive), did the full checkout routine, and headed out to sleep in our own beds. I made zero demands of Casago, but they responded to the information quite defensively, denied any smell in the house (lol my 4yo was choking) and went so far as to imply I had planted the dead fish in the kitchen.
