I am very disappointed with this place, it was dirty from sand all over the couch to stained dirty pillows, towels and bed sheets. The response time was slow and almost 12 hrs later. I had to charge and put batteries in the remote just to watch the very outdated tv that took like 10 mins to warm up. The other tenants in other units had loud children running around at all hours and trying to enter our unit. The proximity to the shops and beach were the only good aspect of this property.

Couch was broken. Place is worn down and needs to be update., all the furniture, flooring. Bathroom seems and some of the walls seem to be held up by caulk and paint. Booking sai let friendly but they asked us to leave and mentioned the fact that we had a puppy as part of the issue. All over complaints of the broken couch. Horrible company, spend several hours on the home trying to resolve couch issue and they looked for excuses to ask us to leave. Ended up booking with Leslie at Pacwest vacation rental thru VRBO who took us in after Casa a,Casago made us leave. Would not recommend booking with Casago.

It was not very clean, it does not seem to be very well taken care of. If you are just sleeping there and spending all of your time somewhere else it is okay. But I would not recommend it.

Dirty: I had a problem with the cleanliness of the property. I had ready previous reviews about the place being a little run down, and those are definitely true. Rundown and dirty, though, was disappointing. The dishes and cookware all had dried food or an oily substance in them. I had to immediately rewash everything myself. The coffee pot had old grounds it in and below the liner, was crusty old food. The shower had weird, hopefully not dried blood, red smears in the walls. Every surface in the place was either sticky or dusty. Safety: They have taken down the smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detectors, removed the batteries, and set them in the closet. A big safety concern for an old place with probably old electrical wiring and zero working ventilation. Communication: We did bring our concerns or the property manager. They responded asking for proof. We sent some pictures of the things we thought were most disturbing. We got a generic “we’ll address your concerns with our cleaners” response and that was it. The location was great. Very close to the Main Street shops and the beach. It was fun to wave at the people on the train right outside. We didn’t let the dirty/unpleasant things about the house ruin our trip, but it was definitely disappointing knowing we paid more nightly for this place than we did for our beautiful Hawaii beach condo. We won’t stay here again, but we had a great time in Rockaway Beach.
