You can catch the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad for a quick trip down to Garibaldi. In Garibaldi (five miles south), there's a marina with fresh seafood, as well as more dining options.

We enjoyed our stay in Rockaway Beach! This house was located on a mountain that overlooked the beach. The road up to the driveway is quite steep, but the property was well maintained. The house was well kept and it was great to watch the sunset over the beach in the evenings.

This place was 100% what we needed for our first time in Oregon!! The house was so spacious and had everything we needed to feel at home (there were 8 of us- mix of adults and kids). The location was perfect and the description of the house, location and access to get in was spot on. We hope to visit again one day and make this our go to place for when we are on the Oregon coast! I recommend this home 1000 times over!

This house was perfect for our 4th of July vacation! We had 6 adults and everyone had plenty of room. The house was clean and well-stocked. The location is amazing! We hardly drove to town or to the beach. If anyone has mobility issues, you would definitely need to drive because there is a very steep hill, but we loved the location. View was great! Exactly as advertised.

We enjoyed our stay. The view was fabulous. You could see a lot of the town, the ocean, and the sky. Beautiful sunsets. Lots of space with 3 bedrooms and a bonus gameroom. Nice jacuzzi bathtub too! Just up the hill from restaurants and the train depot. We would love to stay here again!

The view alone is worth every penny spent to enjoy this lovely home. It provided a welcoming space for family to gather, visit, relax and enjoy, which was the purpose of this trip. The open living space. huuuge! table and the views (again) made for 2 long nights of card games and conversations. While we didn't cook any meals, the kitchen was very well equipped has that been the case. Only one concern was the condition of the outdoor grill. It needs a thorough cleaning before it could be safely used, in my opinion. (And that is absolutely the only negative comment I have to offer). We very much appreciated the abundance of linen, blankets and pillows available Sleeping accommodations were perfect for privacy, windows open to cool fresh air and the ocean sounds lulling us to a good nights sleep. The secluded aspect of the property lent itself to a serenity not often found at vacation places. After a perfect weekend it was incredibly thoughtful that the check out process was so quick and easy. That made for a hassle free departure and again, most appreciated Definitely would utilize this home again (and again) as more relatives come west for a vacation. Really nicely designed house with amazing views of Rockaway and the beach. Spotless clean and well equipped. With two very comfortable living rooms and a great deck the only problem was deciding where to enjoy a view of the ocean!
