This is an amazing property, with amazing views. The host put alot of effort into the tiniest of details when furnishing this home and making sure that their guest experienced the best of every everything. We spent my wife’s 50th birthday there with our children and in-laws and we can’t stop talking about it.

House itself was great for our group; nice bedrooms with attached baths. Kitchen also great for a group - although the trash cans were quite small for the size of the house/our group. The only real issue was that the house didn't seem to have been cleaned thoroughly. There were window sills and areas behind the bedroom tables that had dead bugs, and the the hot tub was essentially unuseable. Joe (the house manager) was very responsive - and came over at night and spent several hours getting it cleaned. But we weren't able to use it the one night that worked for us.

The home and mountain views were beautiful, the front yard was fabulous, and the two neighboring homes are ideal for a family reunion. The chef’s kitchen has Viking appliances, but the portable microwave did not match that quality. It also lacked a traditional coffee maker, muffin pans, pitchers, small saucepans, serving trays, colanders, and chopsticks. There is no king-size bed, even in the primary bedroom. Bathrooms need privacy blinds or curtains, and one bedroom closet was used for storage. Some bathrooms were low on toilet paper, there were too few hangers, and dead bugs had collected on the window sills.Because there is no garbage disposal, food goes into the trash. For guest safety, the property needs a locked, bear-resistant trash cage. Food left by neighboring guests attracted a baby black bear that came to our door and made the front lawn unusable. Trash dates and instructions should be provided. The downstairs patio light hung by its cords, the garage opening near the washer and dryer should be sealed, TV sound was poor, and Jacuzzi instructions and cleaner were needed. Before arrival, the 800 guest-relations line answered but could not answer property questions. Once there, communication with the owner was excellent. The VRBO listing should disclose whether the road is steep, paved, or requires four-wheel drive. One guest’s car could not make it up driveway.Beautiful property with these safety, privacy, communication, and stocking issues cured.

Hi Dana, Thank you for taking the time to provide such detailed feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the beautiful home, mountain views, front yard, and the convenience of the neighboring properties for a family gathering. We also appreciate your kind words about the communication you received once at the home. We’re sorry several aspects of the property fell short of expectations. Your comments regarding kitchen supplies, bedroom and bathroom privacy, housekeeping details, trash storage and wildlife concerns, maintenance items, Jacuzzi instructions, and pre-arrival communication are all valuable and will be reviewed with our team. We also appreciate your feedback regarding clearer listing information about the road and driveway conditions, as helping guests know what to expect before arrival is important. Thank you again for sharing such thorough feedback and helping us identify areas where the guest experience can be improved. Warm regards, Guest Services Team
