Great place/great management

Everything was as promised. We had a little trouble with the hot tub but the management seemed determined to get it corrected. Close to Disney. Clean and spacious!

Don’t underestimate this place

This house was beautiful at first I thought it was going to be small and out dated house but it was anything but that.Had a little struggle in the beginning but it all worked out. Would come back again!

No pool heat all week

We were extremely disappointed that we didn’t have pool heat all week. We were not at the house very much because we were at the parks most of the time. However when we were at the house we would have liked to use the pool. The location of the house to the parks was good. We really liked the size of the house, was great for our family of 5 to have so many bathrooms to get ready in the morning. We did use the game room once and one of the pool sticks didn’t have a tip to it, was broken off. We are hoping for a refund for the pool heat that we paid for. Other than that everything was fine. We love coming down to Florida and going to DisneyWorld. Hope to return soon!!!

Adequate.

This property was just as described by others. Comfortable clean beds, convenient to parks and activities, the game room in the garage was handy, and it was clean kind of. I say “kind of” because it needs a deep cleaning - the walls should be dusted, the upholstered furniture really should be replaced, it’s old, the dining room chairs are upholstered and a little too soft, there were enough towels so every one got 1. No more than that. We had 9 people and there were 9 towels. There was 1 dish towel. The pool itself was clean, but there are some old toys lying around and not much room to sit outside. All in all we had a great time visiting with family and all our needs were met. The Property manager was very responsive. I’d give it a 3.5.

Needs Work

Although we enjoyed our stay, the amenities could have been better. Better towels. A welcome package that included trash bags and toilet tissue. We stayed 4 nights with 10 people in the house with only one roll of toilet tissue in each bathroom. The air was supposed to be set between 75-78. It was freezing in the house. There was only one portable heater in the whole house. The cleaning crew did not do a good job cleaning up. The sheets were clearly not washed between stays. Owner needs to invest in the decor of the house. A little upgrades and new cleaning crew will do this place justice.

Nice home with potential

Let me first say that overall we enjoyed the home. I will also compliment the owner by saying he was very responsive when needed. However, when we arrive to the home the front door was wide open. This was definitely unnerving for us. We are not from Florida so we had no idea what to expect when walking in to a house with the door wide open. The kids kept picking up little caterpillars throughout the entire home. This is also a little nerve wrecking with little children. We understand that Florida has a lot of bugs but we are also from a rural area and bugs are controlled in our home with Terminix. The dishwasher leaked on the first night and we had to put towels down to stop the water. We did not have this problem through the rest of our stay. There needs to be more pots and pans added in the kitchen. There is no big pot and the pots are missing tops. The remote controls all needed new batteries. Lastly our main issue was the lack of heating for the pool/ spa. We were under the impression that if we paid for heating then they would be heated. The water was very cold. The kids wanted to play in it but we thought that if they did then they would get sick. The owner did refund us our money back for this issue but the private pool/spa was one of our main reasons for renting a house this time. We stayed in a resort last year and thought it would be a nice experience to have our own pool area.

Place wasn’t clean

Ok… where do I start. This place has a lot of potential. It’s large. Has 2 master bedrooms and 3 additional rooms. When I arrived I realized how far from Orlando this was (that parts on me). I get there and get settled in and the first thing I think is I really like this place. It’s very spacious. 2 masters so we don’t have to Rock Paper Scissors who gets the master. As time went on I realized this place was not up to standard. I noticed random stains on the walls that looked like maybe makeup or food. I went to load a plate in the dishwasher and it was full of dirty dishes that smelled like spoiled fish. I noticed the top blankets have probably never been washed. They were dirty and one had a blood stain in the children’s bedroom. The toilet paper dispenser upstairs was ripped off the wall. The Maintenence guy told me someone drunk knocked it down. That didn’t really bother me though. And then we go to use the downstairs shower and it doesn’t work! The knob was broke and it wouldn’t turn on. So I guess that took away from the 2nd master. We requested the jacuzzi be heated but they stated it was broke. They fixed it the 2nd day, but we found out the hard way that if you heat the jacuzzi it heats the pool also. The water was too warm to bare during a summer day. This place isn’t horrible l, it’s actually a nice unit. Just needs to be cleaned better. We also purchased a $20 movie on the tv and it told us to try to watch it later because it wouldn’t load. It never loaded. Small touches were missing. Such as no batteries in the upstairs remote.

We had a great stay!

Home was great! The beds were amazing wish I could find out what the name of the beds were cause the was the best sleep I ever had!! Home is close to stores not far from Disney and had everything we need. Could have a few more towels but I also bring some for us to use for beach days. Our person of contact responded quickly and was very helpful. We love the area the neighbors were very nice. We would stay again!

Very nice place !!!

Was easy to rent and place look like in the pictures, we like the house very much only downside was the house wasn’t ready when we arrived cleaning lady ask for an extra hour to finish cleaning. (Check in was at 4:00 pm ) And few things need to be fix at the property other wise everything was good…

GREAT VACATION!

Absolutly beautiful house. We had 8 and everyone had their own space. We had some trouble with the pool and hot tub the first day but Danny was immediately responsive and had everything fixed for us within a day!! Close enough to all attractions for a short drive but far enough away to feel like your own private space! Neighbor was very friendly and helped us navigate the best way possible! I would absolutly recommend this place for any larger family! Very clean house. We had no problem but the only recommendation would be a bit better seating in the pool area though we didn't use the seating much! Close to Walmart and Publix with lots of restaurants and shops in a short distance. Thank you so much We had a great time!

Need mold removed from master bath shower downstairs. Pool needs cover or pool heat payment is worthless in Jan-March when we will return. Cover needs roller to put it on and off the pool. In pool light hanging loose in water on exposed wires. Pool furniture has mold and algae growing on underside. House is great.

The house is average ....

We arrived at 4:45 after a seven hour drive only for the house not to be ready and they asked us to come back in a few hours. I called the contact he made 15 excuses and didn't offer any kind of discount just yeah ..yeah we need you to come back later. When we returned at 6:25pm the house was still not ready. We had to remove the sheets and wash them it was hair everywhere and one set of sheets had blood on them. Most of the guest brought sheets which was great. The refrigerator was dirty on the inside and the house was not sanitized. We all clean with lysol and cleaners. A few of the items were broke or missing the owner suite down stairs shower components are off you have to figure out where to place the dial to get a warm shower not quite hot. Some of the dishes were not clean but that was minor I guess. If you have a large group just know they give you one door key and will not allow access to the door key pad.

Harmonious Home Away From Home

The home was immaculate and exactly as advertised. The neighborhood, while just about 2 blocks off highway 27 was quiet and lovely. The hot tub and pool actually heated properly, which, in my experience, is rare. Shopping of all types is nearby as well as restaurants and drinking establishments. We explored the nearby Lake Louisa State Park as well as historic Downtown Clermont and had a wonderful time. If your desire is to go to a theme park such as Disney World, no sweat as this location is an easy hop away being right near US Hwy 192 and SR 27. Whether you wish to explore and have an adventure, or relax in a lovely home with all amenities including tv, internet, pool, hot tub, billiards table, foosball table.. This property is near perfect. We called the manager to get instructions on running the spa heat system and were given quick and easy instructions with no issue. ‘My wife and I have used vrbo for a number of years now with no major issues. Suffice to say, this property is our top favorite. We will return, without a doubt.

Awesome house and location.

The house was very nice and clean. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Dan was very helpful and easy to contact. The location was great everything we needed ie. groceries, dining and of course Disney and Universal Studios. We had a wonderful week.
