Perched above historic Married Man’s Trail and directly overlooking the iconic Salmon Ladder waterfall, this cottage is literally one-of-a kind ( no other property has this venue) and offers one of the most unique and scenic stays in all of Ketchikan. Watch eagles soar and salmon leap in the stream directly below, all from your front porch. With downtown and Creek Street just steps away, you’ll have easy access to shops, restaurants, and many of Ketchikan’s most-loved attractions. *Please note there are 65 stairs to access the property*

Your host lives upstairs, and you may occasionally see her friendly pug and Frenchie in passing. Your added bonus is that your hostess is an encyclopedia of knowledge about Ketchikan should you need any advice about ANYTHING at all.

This is a beautiful home away from home! The host has prepared a beautifully decorated and cozy space to enjoy. Everything we could need was amply stocked, and she went above and beyond to even have extra treats for us, including the homemade blueberry jam and even creamer for our coffee so that we didn’t have to rush to the store the first night to be able to have coffee the next morning! There is also an amazing bookshelf with so many books and games and puzzles, and a binder with lists of personalized recommendations. Everything was very clean and well-organized. She was very communicative and gave detailed instructions, which was very helpful. The location is also amazing with the salmon ladder and the gorgeous scenery just outside the door, and it’s a quick walk to any restaurant or activity, without needing a car.All in all, I highly recommend staying here!
